Hi, just wanted some advice, just got in from work and the received a letter from Halifax. i have started another complaint for my other account. £350 this time round. still waiting for £2600 to be put in the bank.
anyway they have wrote to me and said sorry to here you have put a complaint in blah blah.
unfortunatly, the information you have supplied is insufficient to investigate your concerns. i would therefore ask you to contact the telephone above.
whats all this about? has anyone had anything like this b4? ive sent the same letter as my other complaint and had no problems.
thanks sue

Evening Folks
Was just wondering how long Halifax usually take to send out copies of statements? Sent request with £10 cheque oh 9th, signed for on 10th but hasnt been cashed yet. Am gonna give them till next week before I ring to make sure they have received and hopefully they wont claim never to have done so. Although its only been a couple of weeks, im anxious to get going on this.
cheers folks0 -
Evening all,
Halifax were quick with me about 2 weeks. Ring them always worth a try.
Also has anyone had experience with HFax Credit Card. I have had two letters stating it was in the t&c's when i first signed and the charges are correct. Do i just issue the 14 day letter next. I am still unsure if what they are saying is true. I have exactly the same scenario with Am Ex also.
Thanks

I spoke to the Halifax last night... as this is really the first step for me... I am only just about to send off my letter requesting copies of bank charges.
The guy at the Halifax was helpful but said to me that I could expect a delay of around 40 days? but, they would almost certainly be making me an offer if it was found that I had incurred over charges.
Deb
From sending the initial letter to request your statements/list of charges, the bank has up to 40 days to provide you with the documents. In most cases that I've seen, the bank provides them sooner than this.

I wrote to Halifax in late February this year claiming £88 back relating to going overdrawn for a few days. Today (22 March) I received a call from Halifax Customer Services offering to credit my account with the full amount requested. Needless to say I accepted the offer!0

Hi
I sent off my request for charges and my £10 cheque about three weeks ago. Can anyone advise as to how long HBOS take to get back to you and should I phone them? Also I sent the letter to my branch, should I have sent it to their HQ?

Yes, stick to your timescales & send the step 4 letter off, I'm at the same stage as you, good luck0
