    hi ppl

Taking HBOS for nearly 4k from the last 6yrs, but have come a cropper on the court particulars, its only letting me have 1080 characters and 24 lines. I've taken out all the spaces and got it down to 1080 characters but i'm still on 29 lines, any help on shortening the court particulars

Try post 6 or 11 of this thread, it worked for me:

    Reclaimed thanks to this site:
£175 Abbey Mortgage Repayment Fee, £170.03 Capital One Bank Charges £418.07 Lloyds TSB Bank Charges, £2,671.55 Mis-sold Endowment Policy, all for OH
  • Halifax have sent me only 10 pages of statements from 2001 to 2003. I think there were a number of pages more than that. I will be double checking the statements I already had filed away against what they have sent me. I'm worried they may be 'doing an Abbey' and removing some things from the statements they have sent me.

Anyway, it seems they have been charging me £5 for going overdrawn each time in 2001, 2002 and 2003. Only later, when they start bouncing cheques, leading me over my o/d limit have they charged £20/30 (and there are plenty of both amounts on the acount!). Is £5 reasonable? I would like to know so that I can tot up either ALL charges, which is a fair whack, or just those at £20/30, which is also a fair whack but not nearly as much as all charges together.
    Gettting there!

Hi I sent my 2nd letter asking for a full refund of my charges plus interest and received a letter back within the time I allocated them to reply in :j . But I am now confused to the reply. Help.. " We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the charges debited to your account. Please note the complaint handling rules set by our regulator, thefinancial services authority gives us 8 weeks to investigate and respond to complaints. Our commitment to you is that we will respond to your concerns at the earliest possible opportunity. However we want to ensure the issues you raised are throughly investigated if for any reasons we are unable to respond fully to your concerns within the next 4 weeks we will write to update you of our progress." Could someone tell me what that all means please.. I can only assume it is a delay tactic but why? What should I do next???:confused:

This is another delay tactic, send your next letter giving them 7 days. You set the timelines not them.

    Good luck

    Taff ;)

keep doing what martin's timescale states, Halifax are waiting for the april to so they don't have to pay out so much. Continue doing what you have to do the didn't stop to think about anyone when they were taking the money, that's why they are always able to make millions of profit. Read the sucess stories to boost your confidence.
