No template letter, just alter the letter before action adding in the above. You are unlikely to receive an offer including interest unless it has gone to the court stage as the bank is only obliged to pay the interest if it goes to court.

What are accountant maintenance fees? I have a whole lot of them and the bank can't tell me what they are? Can I claim for those?
    Thanks.

If the bank cant tell you what these are then I would treat them as unlawful charges and proceed with the claim in the normal way.

Ok, I've just filed my claim online for £547, I'm so stupid I didn't realise that the interest increased daily and I didn't update the last table of charges that I sent to the bank does this matter?I'm just waiting until I can pay the court fees...which should be next week - good timing too since I'm due to go into labour on Wednesday! But I'm just wondering how much longer this is going to carry on for.........?

    Hi

I started my court claim in the middle of January, Natwest acknowledged and defended the claim and now i'm waiting for a court date. It feels like its going on forever - especially with so many people getting offers after just one letter!

Sorry its not too helpful but am getting a bit disheartened by the whole process now

  • Halifax cashed my cheque for £10 today, which I posted to them 3 weeks ago. So I could wait another 4 weeks on top of this???
  • No, it should be 40 days from the date on your letter. Did you post it recorded delivery?
