I cannot believe this governments view of the little people. I was worried about benefits and they actually try and cut the punishment to those who try and take a womens dignity, rapists. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/2011/05/20/ken-clarke-in-new-slur-on-women-sex-attack-victims-as-he-closes-rape-courts-115875-23142539/0

I wonder when the first of these will happen this year.
Certainly getting chillier here.
13C inside, as I speak.
At least I have one room properly insulated this year, which I should be able to afford to heat to over 5C.0 -

Can you afford to buy an oil filled radiator, cost about £50 for a 2kw one?
I live in a Victorian building (huge rooms, high ceilings, looked great when I viewed it) not so great to heat.
I recently bought an oil filled radiator, to use in addition to the CH when I'm working over the winter, but have had to use it already.
Anyway, I'm amazed at how good it is. I've been feeling the cold for weeks now, and I'm shocked at how good this is.
I work in my kitchen/dining area; no carpets or soft furnishings to keep the heat in and, despite the 15' high ceilings, my £50 radiator is working a treat.
Might be worth saving up for?0
