My area has had four triggers for cwp. Have been recieving them on a friday for the past 3 weeks. I thought the last payment would be going into my account tomorrow, but its not showing up as due in when I checked my online banking. Anyone else in this position?

    Many thanks for any advice

    income support with disability premium.

    why?

Because your benefits determine your entitlement! If you can't get any joy over the phone I would put in a complaint.

  • bit confused now with these payments and triggers according to postcode checker up to the 28th my area CF44 should have 5 which I have received yet according to the other link it says 7 with latest triggered on the 27th at sennybridge totally confused
  • Hi,

I think Cold Weather Payments can help people who are in receipt of certain benefits with their additional heating costs during winter.
A payment will be made for each seven day period of very cold weather between 1 November and 31 March.

    Which links are you using?
I think the official one (the one the Government use to generate payments) is http://pensions-service.direct.gov.uk/en/cold-weather-payment/home.asp. What does this say?

Hi, the one you gave me a link to is now showing 6 the one that shows 7 is this link which again is one of the official ones,

    http://campaigns.dwp.gov.uk/asd/asd1...e=socf_cwp_arc

I think it must have something to do with a recording for the weather being a forecast not an actual recorded temperature that's why its showing 7.

I just found this there so I guess thats whats happened
Management Information is not quality assured to the same extent as Official/National Statistics and there are some issues with the data, for example, figures given are estimates not actuals and may be revised later.
