We call our gas prepayment meter the scary gas monster.....We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Couldn't get on to this thread earlier today but will repost my question if thats ok
My area has had 4 cwp triggers. I recieved my first payment on 29 December. Going by what happened in previous years I was hoping the remaining payments would come through weekly. Nothing into my account today.
I phoned the number I was advised to check with and they say they cant tell me when other payments will come through as they dont deal with it.
Anyone else in this situation. I imagine there are quite a few like me.0 -

They usually go in on a Wednesday (here) but the holidays have put things back a few days, the last one I received was about two days late and I'm expecting the same to happen with today's payment.0 -

If you are in receipt of Income Support or Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance, you will usually receive Cold Weather Payments if you also have any of following:- a disability or pensioner premium
- a child who is disabled
- Child Tax Credit that includes a disability or severe disability element
- a child under five living with you

Thanks but thats the bit that confuses me, does that mean you HAVE GOT TO HAVE one of the bulletpoints, or you get it anyway if you recieve Income Support...maybe im stupid but i dont think its worded very wellDFW red and green memberDoing my best to lose weight and save money0 -
