me, me, me.
When would you like them to get their !!!!!! into gear whilst they are having their Xmas lunch? If you even had the smallest idea as to how many CWP have to be processed, you would be a little more tolerant instead of wailing where's me money gimmie, gimmie, gimme.
And for the record love don't try and shush me okay.
:rotfl: Shush
I thought maybe during The Queens speech would be better wouldn't want them spilling gravy over the computer would we?
Nothing to do with being tolerant I fail to understand why I get one payment then no more when it's obviously now on their system so hardly rocket science.0 -
I've had 4th trigger for BS9. Have received 3 payments so far. Really sorry for people waiting for payments.0

The Tories may revert the CWP amount back to being £8.50 per week but I doubt they'll abolish them. In one form or another there have been special payments for cold weather since 1948! Although back then the payment was usually intended to cover the cost of buying additional bags of coal and required a home visit before a payment could be made...0

It was stated in the spending review that the rise £25 would now be permanent (it was a temporary rise under Labour).0

I still use it for extra bags of coal0

Cold Weather Payments- The previous administration temporarily increased cold weather payments to £25 per payment. We recognise the importance of this additional money to vulnerable groups and will therefore put this increase on a permanent footing.
- Around 4.2 million people are currently eligible for Cold Weather Payments to help meet heating costs every time the average temperature in the local area falls or is forecast to fall below zero degrees centigrade for seven consecutive days between 1 November and 31 March. Jobcentre Plus makes payments automatically to older people who receive Pension Credit and disabled people and families with children (who are under five years) who receive an income-related benefit.

We have just been issued our 4th payment (LE3)- we normally receive it a week later. The payments are a godsend ! I'm in the same situation as thousands of others are, I can't afford to have my heating on and the gas fires eat the gas. My thoughts are with those that have not received their payments yet, I know how important the payments are.0
