3rd trigger for my area today too.
I rang late last week as no payments have been received and have told to ring back after Christmas...mine too is because of having a disabled child on the tax credits (plus me being on IS and receiving carers allowance).
Hi I am in the same place as you. Who do we check with re the payments IS or CTC offices? Many thanks for any info0 -
Pupsicola - Last week I rang the benefit delivery centre for my area. She said if nothing in two weeks, she will email the relevant people...who they are, she didn't say!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
I'm having the same problem as last year. 3 triggers, and no payments.
After the fiasco last Christmas, you'd think they would have tried to fix the problem. But no, again those of us who have children with a disability have to endure it all over again.
I know i'll get it eventually, but it's no good getting cold weather payments when the bad weathers gone. you need them when its at its worst.0 -
