Wooooohooo I thought it was just me! I don't like Christmas pud/cake/turkey/carrots/bread sauce (never tried it actually)/mince pies - what a grumbly old stooge I am. My fave Xmas lunches have been when I've got the Indian restaurant chaps to get their mum or wife to cook me an authentic dish, then I freeze it until Christmas day. Obviously can't do that this SW year, so it might be some skinned duck or something. :p

You've never tried bread sauce? You haven't lived, lol. You could have all the rest of the lunch as long as I get to have plenty of bread sauce, yum!

We've not had turkey for years cos it doesn't matter how it's done I always think it's dry. We have a joint of beef and a gammon - it makes nicer sandwiches for supper too :)
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Oh that's right, blame me :rotfl::rotfl:

I didn't tell you to have it 3 times a day, but since you are doing, have you thought about hiring yourself out to power the country instead of us bothering with those turbines :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Been good today after weekend off. Had inset today so only went in for the afternoon [waste of time really]. Back to the grindstone tomorrow :o.

    Food today:
    B - weetabix milk [a] coffee
L - mugshot, noodles, melon, satsuma, activia
T - liver, onions, mash, kale, carrots, peas, oxo
Snacks - satsuma, melon, pineapple, onken, meringue [2.5]
    Syns - 2.5 :D

Have made more cc loaf for pack up tomorrow, I find lunches hard to think up when I'm on playground duty as have to eat on the run. Don't really want bread but thats what I always end up with :(.

Well done losers, hugs to those that need them & good luck to all xx :A

Also, HATE the clocks going back, had to meet son off bus in the pitch black [forgot my torch], theres no street lights between my house [light right outside] and the bus stop and not much of a path either. Had my high viz on though.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
    Keep the Faith All

    Heartbroken 12.12.13
  • I hate 'em too Takeiteazy, dark when I leave home, dark when I arrive home. I must remember to look out the timer-plugs, at least I can set a lamp to be on by the time I get home so it's not so dreary. Even dragging our wheelie bins to the end of the drive/lane/potholed path in winter is horrible. My key ring has a little LED in the end so if I am really stuck I have have a faint beam to guide me :o:o:o.

In case anyone's interested, I've tried out couscous again. After the couscous fritters I haven't been able to bring myself to have any (I know everyone else liked 'em but I obviously did something wrong  ). Anyhoooo, I tipped some couscous into my lunchbox (ooooh vicar), a teaspoon of Vecon, and some hot water, and left it. Very tasty under my slowcooked pork chops and rataouille.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
