I'm going to Mr M on the way home so I think I'll have a green day then I can treat myself to a sushi pack to keep me going! WI tomorrow but * week also due tomorrow so if I STS I guess that'll do!!!

    Here's the menu:

Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B) and banana
    Snack - pear & apple
lunch - pasta bake, yogurt, mixed berries.
Snack - sushi pack? (syns? need to check)
Tea - creamy garlic kievs (HEB, part HEA for laughing cow filling and syns for the coating), jacket potato, salad.

I've taken lactulose in the past and like you was very concerned that it might have a syn value as it tastes so sugary. It was a few years' back that I asked the syn hotline and they said the beneficiary effect of taking it would outweigh any syn value it might have.

Thank you. I was thinking about ringing the hotline so you have saved me from having to do it. I will presume that their thinking on it will not have changed. It is very sugary and probably because we have so little that is sugary it feels like a huge syn!

  • Yes so do I - we've got about 6 boxes in our house at the moment - 5 of which are Christmas presents and the other box are for us for Xmas. I just hope I can stay strong until Christmas!:rotfl:

Oooh the temptation would just be too much, especially the box that's set aside for you :rotfl:

Sweetie...I love Thorntons too - Lush :p the only way to stop me eating them is to tape my gob shut :rotfl:
Well done on the loss BTW :T

:rotfl::rotfl: Dizzy you are a breath of fresh air on these boards, I love your posts, I'm with you on needing the tape!

Welcome Banbury! Good luck this time around, losing 6 stone is phenomenal!

Your very welcome. When I took the lactulose I was successfully losing weight; so it didn't seem to cause a problem.

My GP changed me from one laxative to another recently as the first one stopped being made; and I worried myself silly until I googled around and found out that he could give me the new one sugar free!:D

    I must confess I've been tempted a few times!:rotfl:

Oxos dont give any info on the box what to use do they :mad:I find oxos a bit bland on their own for soup hun...so usually chuck a couple of knorr veggie cubes in aswell.....but I dont add any extra seasoning then. It says on those use 1 per 500ml x
