Because we have quite a few active members now, i wondered if you could suggest me some foods to graze on while I am studying?
This is my mega huge, in flashing lights danger zoneI have beenk known to absolutely TROUGH my way through crisps, chocolate, you name it I've shoved it down my gob whilst at the computer. I used to go out and spend £££s on a bag full of junk food every day
At least I can't do that now I can't drive
Obviously this is going to change now. I can't decide whether to try not eating for the sake of it (because thats what this is) or to go all out eating all I want as long as its free. I'm thinking Soup, soup soup, and fruit fruit fruit. But has anyone any other suggestions?
Many thanksNothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -

eeeeeeewwwwwwwww!!!!! do you know how many GERMS are on your keyboard? Are you the sole user of your computer? (cured yet)
if not try carrot sticks and SW houmous?0 -
skintslimmer - If you want sweet stuff how bout sugar free jelly? It's 0.5syns per quarter of a sachet made up, enough for a bowlful
I top mine with a tbsp of LF creme fraiche for 1.5syns - yum!
Other than that think batons/crudities of veg and free dips, or hard boiled eggs? 'picky' fruit like grapes/berries etc too

Sole user. *eyes up dettol with a meaningful look*
Thanks for all the suggestions. I shall save them and use them for my ultra prepared-ness shopping list. I am being forced to be organised enough to do a shop which will last a week or longer - unheard of for me, but its what I need to do when i'm back home and sainsburys deliveries are the only source of groceries
In the meantime I shall continue to raid the parent's fruit basket :rotfl:Nothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -
The new centre piece of my table is a massive tower of grapes to replace the snowman that was there before - have been to Sainsburys and stocked up on lots of fruit/salad/vege.
But oh dear we are having a takeaway meal tonight - Indian so I will have vege/channa rogan josh and boiled rice and a side salad - luckily had no syns so far so that will cover the curry - not having any synful additions like nann/pappadoms/beer.
Only had 1 glass of wine last night - really thought I would miss the booze but don't since cutting down 90% on it when I joined SW.
Expectin one more gain week as swapping from a mornign weigh in to an evening one then it needs to be a loss every week again after that!Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

Have got some left over roast veg in the fridge and HM turkey burgers so think I'll be having that for lunch, and chicken wrapped in bacon with celaric chips and HM coleslaw (cabbage, onion, carrot, FF fromage frais and seasoning)
fruit and FF yogurt for snacks
For dinner ended up having chicken stir fry (cooked with frylite) carrots, mushrooms, peppers, mange tut (query spelling) with a v small portion of brown egg fried rice (cooked in fry lite)
In the days I used to do SW we'd call that a purple day! (I'm going back 11 years when I joined at 17 and we only had red/green days) Gonna have to get me some books to refresh my memory and learn about EE me thinks. Did buy the mag today and plan to read from cover to cover tonight*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -

:j Happy New Year :j
I have started a new thread for the new year here -https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2953828
Hope to see everyone there soon. I will try and get this one locked so we don't have two running at once if I can get one of the moderators to do it.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!0
