Hi, I've not been on here for a very long time, just wondered if anybody can tell me if I can `carry` my leftover milk and add it to tomorrow`s milk ?

Hope you all have a great new year

Afraid not - healthy extras are use it or lose it :(
  • hi everyone...

so yesterday I had : 28g oats (HeB) with a banana and 350 skim milk (HeA) the rest was used for a couple of cups of tea through the day

Lunch: FF yogurt, VLF cottage cheese with pineapple, banana

Dinner: Steak, roasted veg (courgette, peppers, mushrooms, red onion, cherry toms) in fry lite and 1T full fat mayo

snacks: 2 apples, 1 orange, fruit salad with FF fromage frais

don't know what colour day that was or whether it was EE - am working from memory

Today so far has had 28g oats HeB with blueberries and banana and some of my 350ml skim milk HeA

Have got some left over roast veg in the fridge and HM turkey burgers so think I'll be having that for lunch, and chicken wrapped in bacon with celaric chips and HM coleslaw (cabbage, onion, carrot, FF fromage frais and seasoning)

fruit and FF yogurt for snacks :)
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*

Good afternoon all and Happy new year!!!! lets hope we all have a good one

Well the fireworks here finally stopped at about 1:30 -either that or I fell asleep :p -they must be mad it was absolutely baltic here and we still have about 2ft of snow
Anyway it is now trying to rain, but it is sooooooo cold we reckon it is going to freeze up and become like an ice-rink out there -glad we have a good store of food in to save us having to go out if we don't want to!!

Well then -today Im going green and it should look like this:-
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • 1 pear
    • 227g jacket
    • 1 cheese triangle (2)
    • tickled cabbage
    • tropical fruit
    • cheesy veg pasta bake (A+1.5):-
    • pasta (25g dry weight)
    • cauli
    • broccoli
    • leeks
    • spring onion
    • peas
    • corn
    • cheese sauce
    • fibre plus (B)
    • 250ml semi (6)
    • activia (2.5)
    • fruit allowance:-
    • 1 orange
    • 1 apple
    • 4 plums
So that should be 2A+1B and 12 syns accounted for and I will figure out what to do with the other B later...
I have just been organised again... I was preparing the veg for tonights dinner so I did the veg ready for tomorrows lunch and used all the odds n sods (stalk etc) and have a batch of soup on too -will do me a couple of lunches for nothing .
My plan for tonight is to lightly steam the cauli/broccoli and then break it up with a fork, blast the leeks and spring onions in the micro and mix them together with peas n corn and cooked pasta and then coat with my home made cheese sauce and bake.....pinkies crossed its a "nomnomnom"

Well I don't know what Im going to do with the rest of the day - suppose I could get my x-stitching out ...hmmmmm thats it..I really need to get back into it as I LOVE the one Im doing at the moment and would like it done in time for when we move back to the uk :p
FlutterbyUK -I have been interested in doing one for a while, but wanted to make sure I could stick with the weight loss first... and then I lay in the bath on my birthday a few days ago and spotted this one in the SW mag and felt it was meant to be as the dates are over my mum and sisters birthdays.. mum had breast cancer last year and we lost my sis to ovarian cancer 2 years ago and this is the "women for women" charity run by the genesis research trust that focus on womens health, reproduction etc.... plus its on foot and I would rather deal with sore trotters than sore "nether regions" :rotfl:
Im waiting for them to put it on their site in the new year so i can grab a place then I have about 18months to get to target and get fit and to raise the money...
Why don't you go for it and do one - you can choose one far enough away to not put so much pressure on you!!! As hubby pointed out to me, if for any reason I am unable to do it the worst thing I will have done is donate the £250 registration fee to the charity :D

Right then -I will get off for now..have a lovely day everyone..

    Can you carry over syns?

Yes you can, but it's recommended to have at least 5 a day, so you can carry over 10. Helpful if you want to splurge on one day but be extra good the rest of the week.

Yesterday I ended up having a slice of chocolate log (13 syns), but I only had 100ml of bucks fizz (3.5 syns) along with my other syns that totals 20.5 syns so I need to stick to 9.5 syns today to make up for it.

Mini aim of the day - drink my 8 glasses of water!

Sainsbury's Taste the Difference, Roast Potatoes with Goose Fat, 800g pack, chilled, 100g 1½ syns
Tesco Finest, Goose Fat, 1 level tbsp 6½ syns
Tesco Finest, Goose Fat, 28g 12½ syns
Sounds bad at first but don't forget you'll not eat the whole tray of roasties yourself and they are yummy!:o

thank you. Now to work out how much... I think if I count it as 1/2 a pack of the sainsburys one - so 6.5  blimey. And apparently we had them on Xmas day but I thought it was done in frylight - so I obviously can't tell the difference so a complete waste of syns for me but I'm not going without as I do love my roasties :D that with the gravy will be about 10 syns I think.

It sounds amazing. I have a busy 18months ahead of me (2 weddings abroad, completing my PGCE, turning 30! etc) so it would be something to do in the future. I'm gonna concentrate on getting slimmer and fit for now but it's on my list for the future!

Off to do my Rosemary Conley DVD workout - wish me luck!

Hi there - I'm ba-ack! I've been lurking a bit over the past few days, but have been trying to stay SWish!
I had my weigh in today and have put 1lb over the holiday so am really quite pleased!
Sarymaclary - that was a really moving post a few pages ago - it must be really hard with teenagers to pitch it right.
We have managed not to buy any crisps or nibbles over christmas, and I cooked a huge ham last night for our celebration supper, so started the New Year as I mean to go on!
My mantra this year is going to be 'no excuses' - I own my weight gain, take full responsibility for it, and have the power to get rid of it!
That's all the fighting talk done - now on with the show!!
    Happy new SW year everyone.

:rotfl: I am so unco-ordinated!!! :rotfl:I managed the whole 50 mins though, did skip a few bits that my brain couldn't grasp, but hopefully it will come together the more I do it.

My downstairs neighbours must have thought there was a herd of elephants upstairs  :rotfl:

erm, in the middle of last night i rolled over and completely fell out of bed - which when you weigh 20+stone makes one hell of a clatter in the dead of nuight. but then in scrambling back to my feet i whacked my toe agaist the bedframe and just couldnt help but howling in pain.

A herd of elephants? No - my neighbours probably thought there was a whole zoo!

    Hello

Well as promised I have weighed myself today, I am ashamed to say I have gained 7lbs in two weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't get up (properly) until 11ish so just had lunch at about 1pm two big bowls of carrot and coriander soup, then an apple and a slice of ham an hour later.

Dinner will be chicken and veg for me. I need to use some HE's so I might have some cheese in my chicken and add a small spud......that sounds ok for a red day, doesn't it?

Off to feed baby, then start on dinner.
