I think that's a little bias as a SW thread is only going to attract those on SW or considering SW. There are going to be loads of people who went on diets as youngsters and have never "relapsed" and we won't hear about those people.

I see your point,I have found myself yoyo ing on and off SW since my daughter was born,I found that after my 2nd child it was a lot harder to lose weight, and also I was alot less active, but since then I have relapsed, and when I gain weight,my fault,I resent having to go back on plan to move the weight, yet AGAIN! I would hate my kid to be in the same cycle that I am in,are we ever free once we've started SW?

I'm on the social team at my group, so I weigh the members when they come in. I plan to continue to go to group when I get to target (it is free after all) and I hope that it will be enough to keep me on the straight and narrow. I'll be able to keep an eye on if I'm gaining a little and I can hopefully head it off before I go back to my old tricks. I think this is one of the sides of SW that people forget about, there is support once you're at target.

The only thing I don't agree with as far as SW goes is that if I get pregnant and am at target then as soon as I go above my 3lb then they would make me pay again. That's the kind of thing that will stop me weighing. At least I think that's right, correct me if I'm wrong :)

    YES :rotfl:
Totally know where you're coming from though. Everyone on sw or ww or any other diet that works for them will always be doing it in one way or other. Its only people with weight probs that are here anyway, those that never have weight issues will never have the same worries we do. You can't go back to 'normal' eating because thats how we got here in the 1st place. 'Normal' eating isn't healthy eating so eating 'healthy' food will always make you think you're dieting, does that make sense? I know what I'm trying to say but don't always get the message across :rotfl:.

Back on the naughty wagon today, had chinese as out and not organised. Came home and had a cadburys wishes star choc thing. The good thing is I have stopped there, am thinking about having my fruit but its late and it usually goes through me so would be up in night. Oh decisions, decisions :o
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    Good morning everyone!

Gosh, that SW quiche is gorgeous! I did it on sliced potato, and slung in all the free veg I could find. Definitely one to remember, though I might try grated potato instead, to cover all the gaps in the base.

But, agh, I measured just how much the glass I have my Bailey's in actually holds. I usually fill it to the brim - 60mls!!! Half from now on.

    Today's green food:

    250mls milk in tea etc
    assorted fruit

B - yog mixed into couscous, fruit

L - light choices saus, Synned, with beans, mash

T - Roast veg (frylight), LO saus, Synned

Snacks - ff yog, fruit, ryvita and Philly HEs

    Have a good day all,
    Pol

What's this like?! I normally have a HEB of oats mixed with FF yog for breakfast on a weekday. I find that it really fills me up so love it. But sometimes I could do with holding onto a HEB, even though I do Green days and get 2!

Do you cook the couscous normally first? Do you leave it overnight to absorb?

    Cheers
