I don't think 4 points of toblerone (unless it was a giant one) will take you over your syns by much! (been out, come back. Corrie is on. That's how sad I am:rotfl:):jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

Hi all
Just wondered what everybody's new year's resolutions are? I take it quite a few will feature weight lossbut I wondered about your others?
Mine also include:- Finish my degree
- Get a grown-ups up doing something I love
- Start my exams for teaching horse riding (depending on leg status, but weight is a bigger limiting factor. I'm hopeful that by the time I am light enough to be accepted at BHS exam centres, the leg will be ok to do the stuff.
- Own a horse by the end of the year
- Own a dog by the end of the year
...maybe I would setting for one or other of the last two if I can't get both :rotfl:
Eating - cough cough, what diet today? My defence is a bit weak, but its star week, which occasionally drives me to pretty intense diet breakage, I feel very bleurgh today, not sure if its star week, leg or the lurgey which is to blame, or a combination of the above. I have been asleep for at least 3/4 of the day so far  and therefore the day went a bit wrong when dad offered to make me some lunch at 3pm when I finally surfaced for the second time, and I said sandwiches.
Tomorrow, there will be no more excuses. Should be easier to make quick but nutritious choices, since mum has made a lovely free leek and potato soup, and I have ingredients in for all sorts of loveliness food.
Happy new year everybody! :TNothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -
My new year resolution is to get back on the diet on Sunday! Have been off track for a couple weeks, run up to christmas, christmas itself and then staying with family where it's all ready meals and mince pies  There's no vegetarian-friendly yoghurt or fruit in the house, and I've had 2 portions of vegetables in about 3 days!!!
Back on the wagon on sunday!!!0 -

Mine are (as well as the weight loss!):
- to exercise 3 times per week, and generally be more active
- to find a hobby/interest to do one evening a week (I'm already doing a PGCE part time on a Weds, but would like a hobby!)
- to be a bit more frugal and save as many pennies as possible towards my trip to Oz and NZ in Oct/Nov.
- to find a boyfriend

All the lovely synfree / low syn stuff I bought to see me through xmas has remained in the fridge uneaten ! I will be so glad to see the back of all the rubbish. Unfortunately if it is there then I eat it.
This Christmas has brought the usual round of family catch ups plus I have entertained more than usual this year - the last of these being on Sunday.
My OH gives up alcohol for January so I am going to join him this year which hopefully will boost my weight loss / mean I won't waste any syns. Usually we start when we both return to work but I think he intends to start from 00.01 tomorrow :rotfl:so I will have to think carefully about what drink I see the New Year in with ! since it will be my last drink for a little while
I didn't make it to group this week because my consultant only ran one group instead of the usual two and I couldn't make it
I'm so fed up of eating rubbish for the sake of it. I feel so uncomfortableand I am really contemplating - new year - straight back on to plan rather than wait till I go back to work on the 4th.
So I could have lovely red grapefruit and orange segments for breakfast tomorrow - and steak with butternut squash and other roasted veg for tea rather than bacon in horrid thick white bread for breakfast plus chips and something unhealthy with it for tea.
How has everyone else managed over xmas. I thought I had cracked it this year (this is my fourth sw xmas) but I think it has been my worst !0
