I'm also 5'8ish and I get uncomfortable in size 12s if I go above 10 and a half stone! My target weight is 9 and a half stone, I've been there before and still struggled to get into a 10 in trousers. Weird isn't it?!
I'm 5ft 1 and currently weigh 9st 10, i am a 10 to a 12, pretty much a 10 on top and a 12 on the bottom. However there is a girl who posts in the arms who is only an inch taller than me and is about 3 - 3 1/2 stone heavier than me and claims to be a 14??? Hmmmmm.
Anyway, friday is a bad day for me. Straight from uni to work so a nightmare foodwise.
Had breakfast already, 42g All Bran(B), FF peach activia (0.5), tea(A)
Will have mug of HM lentil soup and a quorn chicken burger(2.5) in a WM roll (B) with a squidge of ketchup(1) for lunch before i go to uni.
Taking a yog(0.5) and an apple for uni.
Before work i'll have a WM roll (B - yes i know i have 3 Bs but i only have one A and i know its probably not allowed but its only once a week:o) with ham (1.5) and pickle (0.5), also will have more soup to up my superfrees.
So far i have an A+3Bs and 5.5 syns, i'm flexi synning today.
Will maybe take another yog(0.5) - must remember to buy more! And 2 kitkats (will probably only eat one:o, will see how it goes), so either 5.5 or 11 syns and will take 2 alpen lights (6).
If i eat it all i'll have had 24 syns. Which isn't too bad for a flexi day i don't think. I was allowing up to 30.
Apologies for the ramble:rotfl: Was kinda thinking out loud. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Im 5'3 and when I started sw I was 13 12 and wearing size 18s
......Im thinking maybe if this person on the Arms is 3 1/2 stone heavier than you and wearing 14s - then maybe she has a really thin body and a mahoooosive oversized head? :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Trixie I missed your post and Lisa just seen yours. It is completely crazy isn't it!! I mean at a push, to be comfy I would probably have needed size 14 at my very heaviest (12st12) and my dress I wore out the other night needed an extra inch across the chest (but it does fit now although has no give in it!) so it hasn't taken much to drop back into the size 12 range. When I've mentioned how much i weigh to people, no-one believes me!! They all say the scales must be wrong, which they definitely aren't.
But I guess it also just proves that there isn't an ideal weight for a height, I think it just depends at what weight you feel good to be at?Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

lol, very possibly. Or she is just talking shoite as usual. Big head and really heavy feet. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Its interesting about people's weights/sizes varying so much. I have to say though that I think that it's more of a reflection on the stupid sizings in the clothes than anything else
I am 5 foot 5 and 9 stone 10lb. I have clothes in my wardrobe (which all fit the same) ranging from an 8 to a 16 depending on cut and the shop it came from. Now I could truthfully call myself any size between these, but that would not change the shape of my body:D:D:D
Yesterday went well and have planned meals today as:
B. porridge/milk/ mashed:eek: strawberries - only 5 though and they were frozen so too soft to chop
S. banana and pear
L. pasta and HM tomato sauce
D. salmon, lemon couscous and veg
which leaves all my syns intact for later......:D0 -

I am 5' 8ish and weigh now 12st 5lb and a size 12 would no where near fit me :rotfl::rotfl: to be a size 12 ....from distant memory I need to be in the 11 stone range.
Totally agree trixietoes, I'm 5' 9ish and just over your weight. I was 13 stone+ when I started and although I know I look slimmer, I'm still definitely a Size 16. I recall in the dim and distant past I needed to be under 10 stone to comfortably wear a 12. I'm always amazed by the 'before and after' stories in magazines (SW included) when people say things like I'm 11 stone, 5 foot 3 and a size 12!! I've always scoffed at them (although I love reading them too:D).0 -
