Trixie I missed your post and Lisa just seen yours. It is completely crazy isn't it!! I mean at a push, to be comfy I would probably have needed size 14 at my very heaviest (12st12) and my dress I wore out the other night needed an extra inch across the chest (but it does fit now although has no give in it!) so it hasn't taken much to drop back into the size 12 range. When I've mentioned how much i weigh to people, no-one believes me!! They all say the scales must be wrong, which they definitely aren't.

But I guess it also just proves that there isn't an ideal weight for a height, I think it just depends at what weight you feel good to be at?

Im with you totally on this one :T:T Ive been at the lowest end of my 'ideal weight' when my thyroid my overactive.....and I looked hideously ill, ive got big hips and cant carry off a skinny body, so for me my best weight is about 9 st 7. I'l be over 'THEIR' Ideal weight but I'l be at 'MY' ideal weight.

Its interesting about people's weights/sizes varying so much. I have to say though that I think that it's more of a reflection on the stupid sizings in the clothes than anything else

I am 5 foot 5 and 9 stone 10lb. I have clothes in my wardrobe (which all fit the same) ranging from an 8 to a 16 depending on cut and the shop it came from. Now I could truthfully call myself any size between these, but that would not change the shape of my body:D:D:D

Yesterday went well and have planned meals today as:

    B. porridge/milk/ mashed:eek: strawberries - only 5 though and they were frozen so too soft to chop

    S. banana and pear
    L. pasta and HM tomato sauce
    D. salmon, lemon couscous and veg

which leaves all my syns intact for later......:D

Are you getting into the swing of things now then ;) Is it an EE day? Good move leaving your syns for later - Thats what I do cos Im a bit of a choccy fiend and like to have a kitkat or something naughty with a skinny latte when the soaps are on nomnomnom

Dont worry too much about the strawbs....as long as you dont mash them too much and puree them (I have probs when I use frozen rasbs cos they dont exactly stay very firm when they thaw out do they :o) I just throw them in my Brekki rice whole and by the time Ive stirred it theyve broken down anyway.....problem solved ;)
  • Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!

TakeItEazy - i am the same as you... if anyone says "do you fancy chinese?" The words "hell yes" come out of my mouth quicker than a blink!! I cannot say no and CRAVE it all the bloomin time.. I am right now come to mention it... egg fried rice & special mixed veg - Oooooh Yeah!! *shakes head and slaps hand* NO! I must not must NOT think about it!! :p

ahem... anyhooo... i too am being bombarded by fairies.. Unfortunately the extreme tiredness + PMT is preventing me from tae bo-ing the little fockers into oblivion! Naturally am almost at my syn limit!! BAH!

Gonna prep myself a feast of pasta n sauce to be followed by a banana, satsuma, apple and ML yog! That SHOULD keep me going til tonight's curry! Nom!

B - 28g instant oats + ryvita (heb) milk (hea) choc + peanut spread on ryvita (5.5! oops :o) at least i used a measuring spoon lol

L - Pasta n Sauce (1.5) followed by fruit and ML yog

D - Chicken Jalfrezi with added onion, peppers and mushrooms (lazy sauce from Sainsbury's- whole jar = 16 syns serving 4 = 4syns) & rice

Syns so far 11 - not adding the 4 syn biscuit not long munched upon!! = 15syns -lets hope i can avoid the poppadoms with tonights curry :( sad times!! lol. Damn you fairies (+ PMT monster - he's here too!)

  • Ooo I'm going to flit over to the Arms then and see what going on, it sounds interesting.

I'm all sewed out now... 2 christmas stockings made, the 1st one I made looks a bit odd as it is too long in the leg but it is what it is, the 2nd one is much better proportioned. They can be put away now until an appropriate time.

Off to see if I can locate the lady who spouts rubbish

I couldn't find the Sweet & Sour Crispy Bites in the database, but based on the nutrional value I found for them elsewhere
    (here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/calories/quorn-sweet-and-sour-crispy-bites-3371699 ) ,
it looks like half a pack is :

5½ Syns per package/portion on Extra Easy
11 Syns per package/portion on Green
5½ Syns per package/portion on Original
