Wonder of anyone on here knows about SW meetings and Christmas - as I'm wondering does SW have a Christmas break? Or do meetings carry on all year round?

I will ask my consultant tomorrow but just arranging a Xmas meal with friends the Thu before Xmas and thats my meeting night - be a shame to miss the Christmas one.

I imagine SW staff need a holiday/break so maybe there will be 2 weeks off over Christmas?

½ Syn on Extra Easy Original ½ Syn Green ½ Syn

This thread must surely get an award for being the windyest on MSE!

We could probably power the country with the amount of wind we produce:rotfl:If only there was a way to harness it:p

Evening ladies... well done on the latest losses :T

The_Cat.. I think you are brilliant for getting a control on your diet now... wish I had done the same when I was only about 7lbs overweight -although I would have been about 7 at the time :rotfl:

Dizzy - I knew you would like my cunning mind :p

Takeiteazy -yup, when I had a fibre plus for the 1st time I got stomach cramps and windypops too, when you eat them regularly it seems to stop -but now I rarely have one, I get cramps every time :o

The mention of "trumpet trousers" made me remeber a card my brother had one birthday -it sang and the song went (and dizzy -this is for you ;))

She lifts her leg and blasts away
    shatters windows in local houses
she is the master trouser blaster
    with her magical trumpet trousers

  • I like marmite, not really had it without marge/butter though, is it okay? Don't like mushroom pate, and thought hummous was lots of syns? Thanks for ideas though :)

homemade hoummous - you can leave out the tahini or add just a bit and leave out oil and it will be similar. Or cook up a tin of butter beans with garlic and lemon juice and mash - yum,,,,,tzatziki...low fat natural yoghurt with mint/cucumber/lemon juice mixed in....quark with lots of sliced tomatoes and black pepper.....mashed bananas.........egg mayo made with very low fat mayo...

and if you are a veggie that eats fish - mackeral pate - mackeral quark and lemon juice

    I did :)

No syns for dinner, I had a steak and some nekkid salad. There may, however, have been two large glasses of red wine. Ahem. 20 syns to be on the safe side. So, over today but what the heck. :)
