OR if joining on-line who is going to know if you *add* 2lb .. I will slink off now incase Im a bad bad person :o....

I won`t tell if you don`t ;) It will just mean the-cat will have a couple of lb head start at her next WI ;)

Yay....glad it worked out well in the end.

I would love it if you would be willing to share some of the recipes from your disc:p:o

No problem :) Only thing is, I can only read them and not copy and paste them onto here, as my trial wotsit has run out and I refuse to pay for something I think should be given to me for nothing as part of my laptop programmes. I`m looking through the disc and typing them out as each takes my fancy, it has recipes for red, green and extra easy as well as dessert recipes. If you`re looking for a particular recipe I`ll see if it`s on there. I think it cost me £1.50 with free P&P from ebay and it has all the books you would get on joining a SW class on it, as well asthe food diaries, the syns list etc etc, so I`m pleased with it and am trying to see if I can manage with the disc as I can`t really get to a class at the moment.

Thanks to Dizzy for putting up her Breakfast Rice recipe. I will certainly give that a try.

I have been amazed at how very quickly the syns add up this time around!:( I am partial to a couple of cups of Nescafe Cappuccino per day but they're 3 syns each (Skinny) so I'm down to one a day now!

I never eat sweets, chocolate, cakes or biscuits (gave them up a long time ago) so the syns I do use go on things like an extra slice of bread, a smal glass of Lambrusco or a Cappuccino mainly.

Good to hear some great results.:j
  • Just found a BMI thingy online and mine is 24.2 which is the upper end of normal, maybe that`s why it hasn`t told me I can`t join, but it has said different to you the-cat ?

Clandestine - this is what mine said. No mention of specific BMI so I checked it on the NHS website.... 22.7

Fantastic! Your BMI indicates you are an extremely healthy weight for your height.
You are at the least risk of developing weight-related health problems. Further weight loss is unnecessary and possibly inadvisable. If you do have concerns about your weight, we recommend that you discuss them with your GP. We've included your diet profile answers below for your reference.

Although we are unable to offer you membership of bodyOptimise, we hope you continue to enjoy our inspirational features and healthy, delicious recipes.

Ideally I wanted to join a class so that I could get weighed in public/ get some sociable support but you know what, having chatted to you guys I think I will just start here and see how I go. The support on here seems great! I know I'm lucky to only have a tiny loss to make (and sorry if I'm irritating those of you with much more to lose) but I just want to get my eating under control before I create a bigger problem

I will decree weigh ins to be on Thurs am and start from tomorrow.
  • redmel is it the Beef Cobbler recipe you want ? I have it in a Comfort Foods booklet I got with the SW Nov/Dec magazine. I can type it onto here for you if you`d like ?
