    Evening ladies

Guns n dizzy -have to say that the veggie cheese is bl**dy addictive :j - I have had it 3 days in a row ..only *issue* is that It makes me smell like rotting wet veg :o.... hubby keeps asking me when its going to stop? well its been 30 weeks so far and so I don't like his chances of a "cease fire" any time soon :rotfl:

LMAO at least I can blame you then for a change instead of poor consultant and her Dyno Rod recipe :rotfl::rotfl:
  • psychopathbabble, that's what I'm having for my dinner too - just crisping up now in the oven and I can't wait! yummmmmmm :j

Lost 1lb this week, so that half a stone for me in 5 weeks. Really pleased with that, and would love to shift the other half by Christmas. Have ordered a Davina McCall exercise dvd, so I'm hoping a few bashes at that each week and a few runs will do me good!
Well done to the huge losers this week! :T
Keep up the good work girls, you're all an inspiration.

    Hello everyone

Can I ask a question please? I have looked on the SW website and it says that if your BMI is under 23 you can't do online SW. Didn't know what mine was but just checked and it's 22.7
Does that mean that SW is not available to me in class either does anyone know? I want to lose just a few pounds (5?) and am wanting to then use the diet to maintain as I'm struggling to stick to sensible, healthy eating on my own

    Any suggestions gratefully received!

    Hi

Not sure entirely about the bmi thing, but you need to have 7lbs to lose to be able to join a sw group!

I have a feeling the 23 bmi thing is because you are already classed as a 'healthy weight' not 100% sure though, sorry

    xx

OK - I will be the naughty one .... does everyone think it would be "wrong" for the-cat to put some loose change or something in her pocket for 1st weigh in -just to take her upto the 7lb limit?
OR if joining on-line who is going to know if you *add* 2lb .. I will slink off now incase Im a bad bad person :o....
    -6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.5
  • Me again :) Just had the reheated disaster of a Beef Cobbler recipe from yesterday and it was yummy  Hubby actually said it was one of the tastiest things we`ve had in ages, he has NO idea it`s a diet recipe :rotfl::rotfl:After a night in the fridge, it seemed to soak up all the excess stock and once warmed through it was really, really scrumptious :T I`ve now decided I will make it again after all, will cook it on Gas 4 or 5 instead of the recommended 3, then leave it overnight and reheat it for tea the next day :)
I did slightly deviate from the recipe though, as I threw in a tin of tomatoes instead of using celeriac and also `synned` with half a glass of red wine added to the mix.
I`m now looking through the disc I got from ebay for more recipes, as well as checking out the magazines I have.

I must be more honest than I thought - that had never occured to me!

Stupidly I was thinking I would need to gain weight in order to join and then lose it. And whilst the temptation to gorge on chocolate is tempting, there is NO WAY I'm prepared to do that:D

I filled in a questionaire thingy and it said my BMI was between 20 and 25 so was in the healthy range, but if I wanted to lose a few pounds for a special occasion they`d be pleased to help. I didn`t see anywhere it said I couldn`t join and I actually want to lose two stone to a stone and a half, as I feel comfortabler being around 9 to 9 1/2 stone. Where does it give your exact BMI as I`d like to know mine.

 I am shocked and outraged that you would even think of something like that;):p

    :rotfl:

The cat are you prefering to join online or at a class?

  • Just tried getting my profile again and this is what it tells me................

`Your BMI is within the healthy weight range. At a BMI of 23 and above, the risk of weight-related health problems, including diabetes, starts to increase so taking control of your weight now, will help you reduce this risk for good. If you would like to lose a few pounds and start to enjoy an even healthier and more active lifestyle, we'd be delighted to be able to play a part in your weight loss success and healthy weight maintenance.`

I am now wondering if my BMI is between 23 and 25 which is why I think it would let me join.

Yay....glad it worked out well in the end.

I would love it if you would be willing to share some of the recipes from your disc:p:o
