Woohoo, weigh in today, lost 3lb - that's 13lb in 5 weigh ins :j
Slipped afterwards unfortunately, went to give blood and (unusually for me) it made me feel VERY sick and weak. So scarfed down two club choccie biscuits and then egg fried rice for tea.Still i suppose being really good the rest of the week has made up for it.

Wow, well done. That is a great loss!
My total syns for the day are 12.5:D
Is it horrible everywhere today? The weather has been miserable all day:(The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
I'm back, 1 lb off, that leaves 4 lb to go to get to my target. I am very pleased, just got to stay focussed for a few more weeks. Just tucking into my Tues night treat of takeaway tandoori mixed grill, half the meat tonight and half tomorrow. I always eat the accompanying salad on Tuesday night, and to go with tomorrow's leftovers have already made a dhal with added spinach, peppers and aubergine.
Clandestine, I think we've agreed that all SW recipes have waaaaaaay too much liquid in 'em. Whoever invents them likes really really WET food
Off to try to post my weight loss online in "my journey" - I get frustrated with this on a Tuesday
Oh, and when Mrs M opens her class I think it should be near where Dizzy lives so we can all go there and meet Dizzy!:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

I'm pleased to report there were no wind releases whilst doing the downward dog tonight in yoga.:T
Oh and Dizzy is right on the breakfast rice, I adore it and it really warms you up. I add Onken vanilla yogurt to mine and tons of berries. Mmmmm.0 -
Just get some pudding rice.
Boil it up in water (the same as you would normal rice) until the water has gone.I use 50g for a decent size serving.
Then stir in a muller (or any other yog of your choice) Im using the vanilla choc sprinkle and I swear it tastes like ambrosia rice pud! then just serve with whatever fruit you want....chopped nana or some berries. Its truly lush and soooo filling now the weather has turned all yacky:D free on green & EE
You can cook twice the amount and keep some in the fridge for the next day to save time.......but dont try reheating it like I did - i got a nasty food poisoning attack from lukewarm nuked rice lol
I make rice pudding with my pudding rice/soya milk/vanilla essence - make it in a big pyrex dish then it lasts me a couple of days. I do warm it up for 2 mins in the microwave - never thought of the rice risks but never been ill. Got me wondering how safe it is now:eek: I've done my food hygiene course and never even thought about pudding rice:oSealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

i think it's ok as long as it is so hot it makes you swear when you put it in your mouth :rotfl:0 -
back from my WI tonight, i lost 4lb, yippeeeeeee! doesn't quite make up for the gain two weeks ago but it's most of the way, not sure how it's going to go next week as i'm off to visit the outlaws and we'll end up eating out 3 meals a day unless i'm careful. We can't afford that SW wise or money wise. Off to see the nurse tomorrow, i suspect i'll get some smart comments from her, she just loves to say catty things for some reason.0

Nurses shouldn't be like that! If she starts being funny then start staring at her hair or point on her face, she'll be wondering if there is something wrong with her hair or in it, same with her face. Cruel but funny!
Well done on your weight loss though!0 -

Well done on the loss:T but a nurse should not make any negative/smart comments - is there another one you can see or a GP instead?Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.
