Hi Ladies,
I posted for the 1st time today, ive now had my 1st weigh in... 2.5lbs off..
Im doing EE, i dont think im eating enough SF foods with my main meals... Really going to try and sort myself out!!
Just stocked up on veg/fruit, going to read through the many posts to get an idea what to have for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner... I have a swwet tooth which is not helping!!0 -
Neither am I Dalia but there were people at SW when I went last time who lived completely out of tins and packets. Yuk!
Yeah I try and avoid it as much as possible, I find it cheaper and nicer to make my own stuff. I was never allowed processed food as a kid!
In all honesty though...Things like pasta and sauce and mug shots have been a bit of a blessing when I've been to busy to cook or at work. I did actually have a bit of an obsession with pasta and sauce at one point, i'm sure they lace it with crack! Apart from those two though, I try and make stuff myself.0 -
Hey Sarymclary...
Good luck with everything.. We are the new girls hehe.. x0 -
I'm back at SW group and have lost 3.5 lbs this week doing EE.:)
I've cooked some lovely meals and have only felt peckish once or twice. I find lunchtimes the most difficult - knowing what to eat for quickness and to fill myself up.
Breakfast I usually have 1 oz cereal, skimmed milk and fruit.
So that's my 1 A and 1 B gone!
I often have 1 slice from a small wholemeal loaf (3 syns) with maybe hard boiled egg, grilled bacon or something.
I was using my A & B on cereal every morning, then feeling pretty cheated the rest of the daybut Ive started having breakfast rice instead with a nana chopped in it or some berries and its lush....all free and ive still got my A&B for later

:rotfl::rotfl:LMAO
I must admit Im coming to the conclusion they must put something pretty addictive in it as Im a bit hooked on the stuff At the mo toopasta & sauce, savoury rice & ainsley cous cous is the only packet stuff I really buy......(I dont class beans mushy peas or tinned toms as convenience food....they are my bowel medicine
)
oooh have you tried stirring a mad cow triangle into pasta sauce......makes it lovely and creamy as if you'd used milk and butter, I usually save one from my HEB and then its no extra syns:p0 -
I joined a group last Tuesday so have my 1st weigh in tonight - I do feel a bit lighter but am more nervous than the initial weigh last week!0

Well done on your loss:)I'm back at SW group and have lost 3.5 lbs this week doing EE.:)sarymclary wrote: »Hello gang,
Well I joined SW officially last night. Weigh in was a bit of a shocker! I weighed about 7lb heavier in the evening, fully clothed! I've already said to someone on twitter that I'm going to be in gossamer next week, and after a few good weeks of losses, it'll be Kylie hotpants and a boobtube!
My 12 y/o son came along with me, and enjoyed the meeting. The Consultant there last night is covering for a couple of weeks, but she was great fun. So, we have out books, we're filling in our food diaries, and we're learning the plan. Most days are going to be EE I think, just to make it not feel like a diet, and to not have to change our meals too much.
This morning my son was very keen to try a HiFi bar, so he had one of those an orange, and some strawberries. He said he felt fuller than if he'd had Rice Krispies. He's taken a piece of fruit to have with lunch too (he has school dinners).
My meals today so far have been:
B - HiFi [HEB], banana, muller
L - bacon, scrambled eggs, tomato, mushrooms, beans
D - *haven't decided yet, but have some minced beef to use up, so it could be shepherds pie**
HEA - 250ml milk
Hello and welcome:)
Is your sone looking to lose weight too, or is he coming along for support to you (or the other way round;))
Good luck to you both on SW anyway.
So today I have slowcooked MRS M's Chinese Pork...OMFG it is amazing and will definitely be a regular occurance from now on:D I only managed to get hold of a 650g pork shoulder though, not the 1kg as stated. But me and dh have just split it between the two of us...dh started eating it and asked if there was more:T I must admit, I could have eaten more, just for the taste as I am actually stuffed. I forgot the stirfry veg so had it with rice which I had added peas and sweetcorn to it was luuurverly xxUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
