I have it marinading in the fridge as we speak:) I have also prepped the bean burgers from the comfort book..Both of these are 'new' recipes that I have never tried before so I am hoping they are nice:cool:

Well done, you are so close to target, it would be a shame if you had to give up now...

Could you try extra, extra hard this week and do loads of excercise, eat loads of superfree and drink loads of water...maybe you could get that last pesky 2lb off in one go and then get free classes:money:

I went shopping today, and spent a fortune...I did get loads of basics though, that I seemed to have run out of all at the same time (don't you just hate that) Anyway, plenty of fruit and veg, I actually meal planned for the whole week, and have some fabby dishes coming up this week:D

    Mel x

thanks hun (nice to see you back again !)
i have never been able to lose more than about 1lb a week no matter how hard i try so if i do it will be a miracle !!
i have only lost 9.5 lb so far so didn't have much to lose but it has taken me 15 weeks so far (flipping expensive lol)
i am doing SW more to help with the IBS than anything , but it will be nice to buy smaller trousers again .

only downside is that the complete wardrobe full i bought from a car booty for 20p an item now hangs off me making me look like a tramp wearing next clothes :rotfl:

Consultant31 -I must confess that Im planning on going to class when I get back in the hope of trying to be a consultant ;)...
I have got the SW bug :p -after far too many years wasted trying every other way of losing weight..

And if the way you conduct yourself here with all the support, recipies and experience you offer is any indication of what sort of consultant you'll be, your class will be brimming over with very lucky losers. :D:D

How long before you come back here?
Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.

Morning all. I'm feeling a bit groggy this morning, woke up in the night feeling sicky, that's gone off now but still not feeling myself. I have Monday and Tuesday off next week with OH so a nice 4 day weekend to look forward to.....it can't come soon enough!!

    My day is green:

Brekkie - small (teeny weeny!) banana, breakfast rice with natural yogurt and mixed berries.
Lunch - salad with lots of pickles, salad cream (1), HM fish cakes(HEB) (They were a bit wet and now look like cow pats!!!), teeeny weeny banana
Tea - breaded fish (HEB + ? syns for breadcrumbs), baked potato, veg, mushy peas.
    Snacks - fruit.
    HEA - milk in teas

If I need something sweet after tea I might change it to EE so I can have a cereal bar, I'd usually have yogurt but I've run out, need to get some UHT milk to make some more!

Some mornings I get up and don't feel like eating so have one of these that you are allowed as a Healthy B:
    Hi Fi
    Kelloggs Fibre Plus cereal bar
    2 X Alpen Light
    Weetabix Oaty Bar

Hope your DD is better soon.

  • Hello everyone. I`ve been reading back a lot of your posts today and wanted to say that you are all very inspiring and some of the weight losses I`ve been reading about are amazing, well done :T
I find the recipes very helpful as well and love how you are all sooooo supportive of each other.
I`m doing EE again today and am using milk as my HE a choice and 3 slices WW brown danish as my B choice.
    So far I have had........
B 2 slices toasted brown danish with scrambled eggs and 1/2 can baked beans.
I was so full after that I haven`t had any snacks, but plan to have a huge dish of vegetable soup for lunch, followed by an asian pear.
I have some very lean stewing beef for tea and fancy doing a sort of goulash/stew/bourgignon with jacket potatoes, carrots and garden peas, but am not sure how to make it. Does anyone have any recipes I can use ?
    Many thanks.
  • Oh, does anyone know if you squeeze some fresh oranges for juice (I need vitamin C big time due to this rotten cold) is that a syn or not ? I thought it wouldn`t be a syn as oranges aren`t syns, but I know orange juice is, but am I right in thinking it`s just sweetened orange juice in cartons etc that are syns and not freshly squeezed orange juice ?
