Hello gang,
Well I joined SW officially last night. Weigh in was a bit of a shocker! I weighed about 7lb heavier in the evening, fully clothed! I've already said to someone on twitter that I'm going to be in gossamer next week, and after a few good weeks of losses, it'll be Kylie hotpants and a boobtube!
My 12 y/o son came along with me, and enjoyed the meeting. The Consultant there last night is covering for a couple of weeks, but she was great fun. So, we have out books, we're filling in our food diaries, and we're learning the plan. Most days are going to be EE I think, just to make it not feel like a diet, and to not have to change our meals too much.
This morning my son was very keen to try a HiFi bar, so he had one of those an orange, and some strawberries. He said he felt fuller than if he'd had Rice Krispies. He's taken a piece of fruit to have with lunch too (he has school dinners).
My meals today so far have been:
B - HiFi [HEB], banana, muller
L - bacon, scrambled eggs, tomato, mushrooms, beans
D - *haven't decided yet, but have some minced beef to use up, so it could be shepherds pie**
HEA - 250ml milk
CatsMrs - I've just joined & started too, so will look forward to hearing about your journey.
Nickynoo - I'm exactly the same putting shopping in my freezer, and I have to forbid anyone else opening it, in case it all falls out on them!
Hope we've all had a good day. Wish the weather would calm down a bit, so I could get out for a walk or bike ride. Been very wet & windy here... and not because of dynorod soup either (altho' my own h/m soup I made and ate last night has had a very similar effect today)! One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -

Your very welcome Hun. I'm completely addicted to the Velvet Crunch crisps!:D Is the hot pot filling on it's own or do you have something with it?? Thanks:beer:0 -

Yeah I just want to eat all the time!
I'm not a fan of processed food but keeping a packet of mugshots or pasta and sauces in my draw at work helps if I feel peckish!!0 -

I'm eating a lot more homemade soups and casseroles!:D
And my treat in the evening is a mini bag of Maltesers - yum yum!:D0 -

Neither am I Dalia but there were people at SW when I went last time who lived completely out of tins and packets. Yuk!0 -
I'm back at SW group and have lost 3.5 lbs this week doing EE.:)
I've cooked some lovely meals and have only felt peckish once or twice. I find lunchtimes the most difficult - knowing what to eat for quickness and to fill myself up.
Breakfast I usually have 1 oz cereal, skimmed milk and fruit.
So that's my 1 A and 1 B gone!
I often have 1 slice from a small wholemeal loaf (3 syns) with maybe hard boiled egg, grilled bacon or something.0 -
