MrsM...... How about all us lot who go to classes all join forces and let sw know just how fabulous you have been in supporting us between WI's, thats surely gotta go a long way to helping your application (all they need is our email addy's to check we are members ;))

Oh, does anyone know if you squeeze some fresh oranges for juice (I need vitamin C big time due to this rotten cold) is that a syn or not ? I thought it wouldn`t be a syn as oranges aren`t syns, but I know orange juice is, but am I right in thinking it`s just sweetened orange juice in cartons etc that are syns and not freshly squeezed orange juice ?

I think im right in saying you have to syn it, as you're not getting any of the 'bulk' of the fruit therefore its synning. you're best off just eating the whole orange :o and get some vit c tabs if you want to avoid the extra syns
  • Thanks for that Dizzy, I`ll just up my orange intake and go get some vitamin c.

A whole orange is only 1 syn if you juice it - mixed with fresh grapefruit juice it's lovely and I don't mind a couple of syns if that's what I fancy :)

  • Bum... that seems like a fairly appropriate word.

I've been off the wagon this week and gained 2lbs. Nightmare toddler and a visit to my mothers are to blame (While I fully appreciate that I am still her baby I cannot understand why she thinks that I am in need of feeding up.) After the third night where lo wouldn't go to sleep until 10pm and then woke two or three times in the night I was back on the sugar with avengence.

    Still

Here's today so far, a green one.

    2 weetabix
    skimmed milk HEA

    Apple
    2 Biscuits 6S

    Pasta
    Tomato Sauce
Parmesan 1S (I only had a bit, certainly not an oz)

Flapjack - 10S (can you spot where the stress is)

    Tonight it's
    Roast pork
    Potatoes
    Veg.

Well done for all the great losses so far this week.

Big (hugs) I have the same problem when I go to my Mum's - bless her she cooks me a Slimming World meal and I really appreciate that - but it is always a massive portion and I don't have the heart to say anything as she's gone to so much effort!:(

    Good afternoon

I had a disaster with my lunch...I made the bean burgers from the comfort foods book, and they were disgusting...I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but I followed the recipe exactly. Also about 15mins after eating the half of one that I ate, I got bad cramping pains and had to run the loo:cool: I will NOT be trying them again:p

    Hope everyone is well
