ahah! does that happen in real life too, because I've watched my neighbour roll up sushi and he doesn't use sugar. Anyway, on top of the fact that it's all healthy if I refuse to accept the fact there's sugar in it :p:p:p because it is EATEN IN THE CAR it doesn't count, right ;););)

I do like your way of thinking, and really want to believe you!

Trixie - that lemon quark sounds lovely. I wonder, if you put less lemon juice, but add in some grated lemon, if it would have a nicer, less sour lemon flavour? That's what I use in lemon cheesecake, or lemon cupcakes that I make... yes I know, they aren't exactly SW foods, but I love to bake, so I make them for others, and birthdays.

This time tomorrow I will be an official SW member, and be avidly reading my books.

Talking of lemon quark - as well as sweetener i add lemon curd (1syn per teaspoon) to mine (usually 2 tsps is enough and you get a nice pot of yum for 2 syns). I dont like lemon juice as it makes it too sour for my liking!

Syn 1 digestive and you have lemon cheesecake lol
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

Doesn't look much really. I think you need to up the superfrees. If you read others food diaries even when doing red or green its best to have plenty of ss foods. I do mostly green but ALWAYS have a bowl of fruit with yog. Also add onions + toms to most meals. Obviously it is up to you but it does help the weight loss to have more fruit & veg with meals.
Mr T has pineapples 2 for £3 & melons 2 for £2.50 plus theres always some sort of deal on fruit & veg at the supermarkets. HTHS :D

I know hun thats i deffo need a kick up the bum in the fruit and veg department. I have weeks i'm really good then weeks like this last one that are really bad:o. I've just had a sneaky slice of pizza because i was still hungry after having my tea and rather than just getting a bit more of that (quorn chilli) i nabbed a bit of OH's. Dont even know why i did it.
So i've just sat down given myself a talking to and planned my meals for the next few days. I've decided to change my wi day from a monday to a fri as i'm usually v good during the week and a bit more relaxed on the weekends so i want to use flexi syns, 10 a day during the week and 20 a day on wkend. Am i allowed to do that? And i'm also setting myself a little challenge to keep me motivated. I want to be at 10st7lb by xmas (at my last wi i was 11st2lb), so including tomoro as my last mon wi i've got 8wi's which i think is doable. Right i'll stop wafflin on now gonna get myself cozied up to watch downton abbey:D

Evening all, can't believe the weekend is nearly over already!!

Well done Mrs M. Your meal plan for the next week sounds yummy, I hope you'll be sharing recipes again!!

We had Cochifrito tonight which is a spicy lamb casserole, I found the recipe in an old SW mag, it's deffo a do again in our house (good job as there are now 2 portions in the freezer!!).

I'm very pleased with myself....I've stuck to plan 100% all weekend! I've also had some exercise...a 1 hour walk yesterday morning. We then walked to the bonfire last night but had got the time wrong so walked home and went back an hour later so 2x20min walks. I've also been out cycling today for 40mins, my legs were less tired when I got back than they were last week so hopefully I'm improving! here's what I've eaten today (Green):

    Brekkie - porridge pancakes (HEA&B + 2.5 syns)
Lunch - fat free super noodles, 2 chopped up quorn fillets, sweetcorn, peppers
    Snack - small banana
Tea - cochifrito (4 syns for cornflour and gravy granules), mash, sweetcorn, broccoli
Pud - small banana, yogurt, mixed berries.

On the subject of weight loss slowing down if you don't eat enough.....I'm not really qualified to comment as it's not a problem I have....I always eat plenty, the only difference is sometimes its healthy and sometimes its not!!!

Hi everyone. I'm more of a lurker than a poster but I think it's time to rectify that. I've been back on Slimming world for about 6 weeks now but the last week and a half have been awful. I wake up thinking all will be good but it doesn't last long. I am however determined to get back on track from tomorrow. I have a batch of dyno rod soup made up ready for lunches and I absolutely love it. I really need to go the speed food route for the next few days before weigh in on Wednesday if I am to reduce the damage i've done. I have a chicken defrosting and i plan to put it in my slow cooker tomorrow. That should do me a few meals over the next few days.

I am on a mission now.

The jerk chicken was amazing!! It's really spicy though so you have been warned! We didn't have the pinapple though. Rice and peas were made with long grain rice, chuck in some black beans and a stick of cinnamon. Left out coconut milk to make it syn free.

    Recipe here

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/jerkchicken_10680

I also took inspiration from Come Dine with Me this weekend and made the pomegranate and mint salad which was made using one chopped red onion and seeds from one pomegranate (cheaper than buying the seeds, got them from the market, 5 for £1, cut them in half and tap hard with back of a spoon and the seeds fall out) then chuck a handful of fresh mint and a squeeze of either lemon or lime.

Just made the dyno rod soup but halved all the ingredients, its still TONS...watch this space:eek:

Well the weekend was a write off really, with some chips from the chip shop, friends popping round with bottles of wine  a bizarre obsession with orange juice and cheese and my cooker seems to have remained unloved and unused, but surely I must have been eating something other than crisps:eek:

Anyhow I've got a busy week ahead socially and am off on holiday a week Friday, so heres this weeks menu plan which hopefully will keep the damage at a minimum. Come to the conclusion now that if I don't put on any between now and the new year I'll be happy but with so much going on and an all inclusive week in Egypt looming I'll never be able to stick to plan 100%. Plan to have a colonic treatment next week, so that'll help a little. I have taken to drinking my wine with a lot of soda to make it last twice as long. (Gosh I sound like an alcoholic, using all my syns on alcohol!)

    This weeks menu plan

Monday EE - 12 (Friends for dinner)
    Egg, bacon and Toast (HEB)
    Smoked Haddock
Chicken, Bacon, spread with Laughing Cow light triangles (HEA) Rice – with peppers, mushrooms and onions to up the SF and Salad
    Wine 12
    Fruit

    Tuesday Green (9)

    Egg and Toast (HEB)
Pasta Bake and Salad (3), HEA (Cheese)
Tuna Fishcake (HM), (HEB) SW Chips
    3 x Babybels
    Fruit
    2 x Alpen Light (6)

    Wednesday EE (8)
    Egg, Bacon, mushrooms and beans
Pasta Bake & Salad (3), HEA (Cheese)
Chinese Takeaway – Beef and mushrooms, Plain Boiled rice, (5)
Snacks – Fruit and 2 x Alpen Light (HEB)

    Thursday Red (8)
    Egg Bacon and Toast (HEB)
    Sandwich – Tuna (2),
Gammon and new pots or Jacket, salad (HEB)
    3 x Babybel (HEA)
    Fruit
    2x Alpen Light (6)

    Friday Red ??? syns
Egg, bacon, mushrooms and toast (HEB)
    Smoked Haddock
Steak, JP, (HEB) Salad (Meal Out)
    3 x Babybel
    Fruit
Alcohol – quantities unknown at this point in time, but a friends birthday so could be high!

Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.
