Hope this helps.Heyy, Im hoping to do it alone as I can't afford the classes at the moment, however, I did buy a starter pack from Ebay so yess that helps
If anyone has any updates that they can see on the SW site and wouldn't mind posting, I would be grateful.

Woohoo Yellowbird
..
Sorry you are having struggles -how about visisiting us on here more often to help keep you motivated (you will get some laughs at least)
I have to say that you don't seem to eat much... Have you tried shaking things up by going right back to basics and trying different recipes etc? It could be that your body knows what to expect....
What plan are you following Today? Red?-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
You don't seem to have enough speed food there. I recommend getting a cheap box of strawberries, rasberries and blueberries from the market, pref at the end of the day so they are cheap and munching on them a lot. Or frozen fruit.
Also yo yo ing the diet won't help either. I always save one day a week where I can have a normal meal out or takeaway or treats then stick to the plan rest of the week, I find that helps rather than 'bingeing' when you are not happy. Emotional eating=diaster!0 -
Yellowbird - please please please do NOT give up!!
I agree with Mrs M - you really do not eat much! If you dont eat enough your body will hang on to every calorie you consume meaning that you will store fat rather than lose it so to speak.
Here's my advice (based on what i found has helped me)
Firstly, mix up your days...have a variety of red green and EE to keep things exciting and to speed up your metabolism.
Secondly, vary your healthy extrasI dont eat bread so i mainly eat cereals but i try to have as many different cereals over the week as possible. Again this will stop your body getting used to the food.
Thirdly - Superfree food! Try and have 1/3 of a plate with every meal regardless of what day you are on! I always have fruit with breakfast, fruit and/or salady bits (celery, carrot sticks etc) with lunch plus veg with dinner
Fourthly (lol) Enjoy your syns! Mix them up too! Experiment with yummy sauces to zazz up your meals! Eat a piece of chocolate if you want it, have a glass of wine if you want it! Don't deny yourself syns - your body needs them to 1) boost your overall calorie intake and 2) keep your metabolism going! Plus they make this plan feel less like a diet!
Finally! Make sure you measure your Healthy extras as mis-measuring leads to more syns!
I get a bit disheartened sometimes, we all doI try to keep things exciting as much as possible! I am trying to make sure i try at least 2 new things each week! This week i have had Thai Green curry for the first time! It was yummy and SW friendly!
I wish you all the best of luck!! Please feel free to ask us as many questions as you need to!! We are all here to support you on your journey!!All hail to the sale!!!!!!

really need support as i am on the verge of giving up. I am really trying but it is not showing at the scales. have been watching you all with envy as i dont seem to be losing anymore with the plan. I know i have lost weight but that was in the 1st 6 months. I weigh the same as i did 18 months ago despite still going to group every week. i have lost and gained the same 10lb for the whole of this time. i made the mistake of weighing myself before wi on thursday to find i had gained 2 lb despite sticking 100% to the plan. so then i missed class and went ballistic eating everything i shouldnt have. friday back on plan as i dont want to put all the weigh back on. so i am going to do a daily plan please feel free to comment. thanks. you are all an inspiration to me as i have followed you all for months
B 1 banana, 1 boiled egg
D/T 6 ww danish (2xHEB) with ham, prawns salad boiled egg, chicken slices
S 2 Tangerines
Sins plan to have vodka and coke tonight at 2.5 sins for 25ml shots with coke filled to 1 pint to stop me having too many.
175 wmilk (HEA) for tea and coffeeHello yellowbird, don't give up! Dalia is right!I did WW for a while and lost 1st 7lbs, and that was having a chinese every week after my weigh-in.Im new to slimming world but im sure it will be the same here, plus you dont feel like your dieting as much when you treat yourself once a week. I love fruit aswel so if ever im having that bored-feel-like-eating feeling i grab a few satsumas and satisfy the annoying urge to eat rather than reaching for the biscuit tin:)0 -
Hi MrsM - sending you my 1lb off this week to make you get to your 6 stone sticker which I think is awesome whether it is 5 stone 13 or 6 stone!!
Yellowbird - I agree with the above - you maybe need to eat more superfree foods.
I could have been reading my own story about weight and sticking a few years ago, and I have now come back to the fold, and am being humble enough to admitt that the people at SW (and here!) do know better than me!!
Going back to absolute basics works for me all the time.
I do find that after a few weeks of rigorously following the plan I do have a tendency to coast a bit, so going back to the books and giving myself a kick up the jacksie helps!
Coming on here regularly really helps too - it makes you realise that you are not alone!!

Today's food : Green
No brekkie (bad me, I know but I was asleep!)
Lunch : Noodles, spring onion, celery, mange tout, chilli flakes + 2 syns for spicy sauce
Snack : Ham (HEB), cheese triangles (HEA), apple
Snack : Fibre Plus bar (HEB)
Dinner : SW wedges, beans + BBQ sauce 3 syns
That looks so much better than it felt - been a bit of a snacky day and I always think I'm eating the wrong stuff when that happens0
