Hubbies lurgy finally kicked in on me today  -so I have a head full of itching powder and a sore throat but hey ho- there are much worse things I could have!!!
Anyhoo my red meal plan today has been:-- 250ml semi (A)

- 100g potato (0.5xB)
- 71g peas (0.5xB)
- nobbies
- carrots
- cabbage
- gravy (0.5)
- activia (2.5)

Anyhoo ....."santa" was very clever this year... he must have snuck onto the PC and looked in a shop I was sale hunting in (I saved loads of items into a wish list so I could go back and decided what I wanted) -only I never bothered -well somehow :santa2: found the list and ordered them all  -so Im now the very happy owner of 9 new dresses and 7 bolero/knits that go with them -all in a size 16 ... Hello and Merry Christmas to all:)
I've had a flexi day but not gone too off track.
Made a nice vegan Christmas lunch - ate loads of veggies, did SW style roasties, and gravy without any fat, did make the main of chestnut and red wine pate en croute but it was easy to eat the filling and not the puff pastry so not too bad.
Made vegan lemon cheesecake - again I left the biscuit base and ate the topping which was made from silken tofu - not as bad as cream cheese or cream! Have ignored trifle and any crisps, had some breadsticks/rice cakes and syn free hummous instead.
Did have a large glass of wine and 2 chocs.
Back on track tomorrow - going to family buffet tea but will have cooked meal at lunch and taking some vegan food - like rice cakes and falafel/hummous and Aunt always does fruit salad so should be fine.
Must stick to plan in the week before Thursday weigh in, will be the week I gain I'm sure but Christmas is relax/nice food time so wont hurt for once!Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

Hello
Hope everyone enjoyed the day!
I don't think I did toooo badly. Well, that is to say at no time did I feel so full I could have happily burstI had:
SW fried brekkie
Cheese roll (11am ish)
Wine - 2 small glasses. Couldn't be bothered with the nuts when offered
Another cheese roll and SW soup (3pm ish - odd day due to visiting)
Christmas dinner - roast beef, nut roast, veggies, dry roasted potatoes and gravy.
Small ish portion Xmas pud & custard.
baileys
Rum
Small lint santa
Green triangle
1 square other choccy
So I'm quite pleased because I've eaten what I wanted but not stuffed myself silly and don't feel deprived nor like I've synned toooooo much50 ish syns by the time healthy extrad deducted (valid because of brown bread and cheese). I'm happy with that.
Another off plan day tomorrow but I think I'll probably stick to SW apart from some cheese and biscuits. I'm quite happy to make those my only non-on-plan syns, then back fully on plan on monday. :T
(Oh and I saw HIM. Not the guy in the santa suit. The other HIM.)

-watch the snow plough come around once he is done and bank it back up again
Anyway..... the breaking news issssssssssss3lbs off for me this week
.... It has to be the first time in living memory that I haven't gained at least 1/2st over the festive period
.... and I have to say hand on heart that I really haven't missed any of the obligatory festive "goodies" -although had I had any in the house I think it would have been a very different matter
Well Im still feelingso today will be red.... I will list what I think I will manage and I will add in the other stuff later,,,

Morning all.
Skintslimmer, you saw HIM but WHAT ELSE?!??!?!?!?!?!?!??!?
Mrs M, try a sprinkling of chilli or chilli sauce in your hot drinks, it'll ease your throat, hope you soon feel better.
Right here's my view on people who buy SW-ers chocolates/cookies etc for Christmas. They are NOT real friends. I feel the same about people who do this when it's not Christmas too. Sorry, but if people know you are trying to lose weight by eating sensibly, they can surely find something else than fattening stuff to buy - or do they have an ulterior motive, eg they don't want you slim because then they'll feel fat or summat? Rant is due to a close friend buying me a short stack of ginger and chocolate cookies as part of my gift. I don't even LIKE biscuity things but then I ate the damn things which is my own fault I know, but I do want to know why she gave me them anyway. She has a serious heart problem and shouldn't eat any fats etc but takes no notice because she's "got to die some time" but surely she could've given them to someone else? Oh well. 99% of my friends are supportive, encouraging, flattering (and slim, come to think of it). But there's always the odd one, do others get this, who have ways of putting you down about your weight loss. The favourite is: "Don't lose any more, your face will look gaunt". Sorry, but there's a good way to go before I look gaunt! Hey ho it's Christmas, I will try to be charitable.
Happy boxing day to all!
I have leftover fillet steak and SW roast potatoes to eat, will do some more cabbage with fennel & cumin and finish off the onion gravy and there we have a free meal in both senses! Breakfast was smoked salmon, scrambled egg, some sweet sweet sweet cherry tomatoes and a mango. Not all on the same plate. Bum firmly back on the wagon after those horrible biscuity things yesterday.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

i always give them back and say,"what a nice gesture, but i'm on a diet,so YOU eat them and think of ME when you do!"that way they get the message
i'm back on the wagon too, move over there HAS to be space here for a small ish one?
don't get downhearted Rum,every girl needs a fat friend, she wants it to be you and not HER thats the fat one!
