Hi been to weigh in and lost 3lb this week (not sure how must be cancelling christmas meals out and all this snow walking)

So I got my club ten:j and am now 2.5lb off losing 2 stone (that can wait til the new year now!)

Glad I got to the daytime meeting as my evening one is off due to the snow)

Celebrating with a Chinese tonight - got that in Birmingham as too icy to get out after dark, and this place does a vegan soya low fat menu) So mock soya sweet and sour chicken with steamed rice for me tonight:)

:T:T:TWell done you for losing such a lot at this time of year, and congrats to all the losers......;) to the gainers - understandable at this tme of year too!

I'm all ready - just have to pack for our Christmas away at friends.....:)
I met a friend for lunch at Waitrose today, and they had all their posh tins of chocolate biscuits on BOGOF, but I resisted as I knew who would be eating them...... I usually pretend I'm getting them just in case someone pops in and then..... you know the rest! I'm quite proud of myself!

As we are heading off tomorrow can I just say a Happy Christmas very early and hope everyone has a good Christmas, as SW as you want it to be!

:xmastree::xmassign: Fitorbust hope you have a good one!

My day has gone a bit :naughty: walked to waitrose [was packed] through rain/sleet/hail you name it, resisted the sausage rolls son had but was so weak when got home due to sugar level dropping that 3 bits of toast/spread/lemon curd & 1 bit of toast/spread/pate forced their way down my throat . Been good since then though with just a bowl of pineapple, melon, pear, onken & meringue. Fingers crossed for rest of night as * week iminent and craving :naughty: stuff :o.

Still got fingers crossed the trains are running, just waiting to hear from hubby now.

Good luck all & don't be too hard on yourselves this time of year :xmassign: Have A Very Happy One!!!
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

  • Just weighed in before I set off and have lost a pound....:j:j
That's quite good as it starts Christmas on a positive note!

We are spending Christmas with friends, she is one of the Loose Women, so you can imagine how tiny she is!! Having her sat in front of me will act as quite as a deterrent if I reach for seconds!!:p

    Bye!

Good afternoon from a very very snowy me 26.gif
we woke up this morning to another 8" of the white stuff on top of the 18" we had allready...and its still going 33.gif -so the bird table and bath have been seen to again and I spent 15mins clearing the fronts and now we get to just sit and look at its "prettyness" biggrin.gif...all lovely n festive it is xmastree.gif

Despite my shoving cold n flu tablets down me I think I have picked up a bit of what hubby has grumble.gif.. only really a sore throat so far, but I feel ok...so I will just keep the fruit n fluids up and see how quick I can get shot of it....
oooohhh the turkey steak with garlic mushroom sauce last night went down a storm... hubby requested it again biggrin.gif, I was half expecting him to ask for it for tomorrow...

Anyhoo today will be another red one and should look like this:-
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • banana
    • blood orange
    • salmon fillet
    • tickled cabbage
    • minced beef casserole (1)
    • 198g steamed potato (B)
    • broccoli
    • cabbage
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • fibre plus bar (B)
    • activia (2.5)
    • 250ml semi (6)
    • fruit allowance:-
    • 1 apple
    • 1 blood
    • orange
    • 8 clementines
Now then that will be 2A+Bs and 9.5 syns accounted for... although I may make myself a hot toddy (3) OR just honey/lemon and hot water (1) if I need one later wink.gif

whilst Im here I may as well list tomorrows food -although I do plan on popping on.. anyway this "should" be what I have-red day again:-
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • 2 clementines
    • 1 banana
    • roast chicken
    • 2 pigs in blankets (3.5)
    • 98g potato (0.5xB)
    • carrots
    • nobbies
    • cabbage
    • 71g peas (0.5xB)
    • gravy (0.5)
    • tropical fruit
    • prawns
    • tickled cabbage
    • tickled beetroot
    • tickled bunions
    • home made coleslaw salad (0.5)
    • peppers
    • activia (2.5)
    • fibre plus bar (B)
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • fruit allowance :-
    • 12 clementines
    • 2 blood oranges
    • 1 apple
right that -not so little lot will come in at 2A+Bs and 7 syns -so I will have a few spare in case I want something else...

Well I hope everyone has got done all that they need to and is all set.... have a lovely day everyone and keep safe n warm xmassign.gif
Well done on the losses folks :j
no doubt I will be back later giggle.gif...

  • Happy Christmas Eve everyone. Just treated myself to a chocolate snowman and a glass of wine, not counting any syns on 'em just for tonight. (bought a chocolate snowman for a friend then noticed it was two for £5 so it would have been very non-MSE to only buy one:D )

I hope you all get your hearts' desires in your Xmas stockings and have a fab day xx
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

Merry Christmas everyone. I've just managed to catch up on things after the mayhem of this morning. Children all seem very happy with their gifts, Santa seemed to get exactly what they wanted again this year... he's so clever like that ;)

SW is in the back of my mind, but I'm not counting anything for the next couple of days. Yesterday evening we had a chinese meal, and we're having left overs for lunch today! Christmas dinner is tomorrow for us. It will be nice to have a break, but I know I'll also then be really looking forward to getting back 'on it' again afterwards.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, and enjoy whatever treats you are allowing yourself.

    Enjoy! xxx
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

Hi, I am back doing SW after a 2 year 'down', and heavier than when I first started. But I lost a stone and a half with the sickness bug at the beginning of Dec, and a friend suggested I use it as a springboard!! Some springboard, I've never felt so ill in my life!

This is my Christmas present to myself - I am going to get back to a happy size 16, which suits me, and not worry too much about the lbs.

Are you going to continue with this thread once the season is over? I only found you this morning, so I have a lot of reading to catch up with.

    Have a wonderful Christmas,
    pollysg
