~ Pasta w/ bolognese, creamy mushroom sauce, veggie-packed sauce, lasagne, mexican lasagne
~ Shepherds pie
~ Moussaka (made with potatoes usually, OH hates aubergine)
~ Stir fry + noodles or rice
~ SW chips, sausages and beans
~ Sausage, bean + potato bake
~ Chilli + rice or HM wedges
~ Quiche
~ Jacket potato + beans/chilli
~ Curry
HelloHow about:
Pasta bake
Vegetable soups and stews
potato gratin
cheese and potato pie
egg, chips, beans
risottos (butternut squash, and mushroom are my all time faves)
canelloni (mushroom or other veg)
any of the curries made with chunks of veg or quorn)
stroganoff
cauli cheese
macaroni cheese
spicy bean casserole or chilli
stir fries
omlettes
tortilla (spanish omlette with potato served cold)
salads - warm as well as cold ones
mashes made with not just potato but swede, carrot, cereriac etc.
bubble & squeak
spicy rice
... will that do you for now??
ooh while looking through sw recipe books for the above ideas I came across this sw braised red cabbage recipe:
1.5kg ed cabbage
2 red onions
s&p
1tsp ground cinnamon
3tbsp red wine vinegar
juice of 1 lemon
3 tbsp artifical sweetener.
shred cabbage and onions, fry in fry light for 5 mins on high heat, add other ingredients and it says here to cook for another 6 minutes so it still has some bite, but I persn'lly would bung it all in a casserole dish,m cover, keep moist and slow cook in oven for an hour or twoSyn free on all plans.

Hi
Can't find my old pin to log in if it needs that and they have still not sent a password reset.
If you would not mind looking up the details for thses mini veggie soya sausages - look like quorn but are vegan ones that would be fab thanks:)
Its a 390g pack with 30 mini sausages in but only has per 100g
Cals -265
Carbs - 49
Protein - 21g
Fat - 15g
Sounds bad per 100g but they are mini cocktail /party ones so per sausage if I can work it out might not be too bad. If mega bad can take them for some more slimline vegan friends I'm seeing Sat, and just take breadsticks and Hummous tomorrow night for SW party:)
I wont get back on here until later this eve now so wont be able to respond to any replies until then - works computers class MSE forum as gambling:rotfl:Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

Good Morning,
Had a successful 2nd weigh in last week, dont know what I was worried about, got another 4lb off and my 1 stone award plus slimmer of the week. It was also our xmas party/ taster night and i made smash pizzas and a syn free fruit roulade and they went down a storm and everyone wanted the recipe. I am now down to going on my own because my other 2 friends aren't going back, so I very nearly chickened out too.
Would love another loss next week, expecially with it being so close to xmas so fingers crossed.I would like to be able to admire a man’s opinions as I would his dog - without being expected to take it home with me."

It was a rather unexpected enforced departure oweing to me falling off the face of the world - and back onto it with a thump, dislocating and smashing several bones in my ankle and spending 16 days in hospital  I am now a bionic woman with metalwork inside my leg and a cast and crutches
Ohhh you do have my sympathy - been there done that! I managed to put on about half a stone when i broke mine (similarly to yours by the sound of it), probably would have been more if the kitchen wasn't so far away :rotfl:
Sounds like you have great support from your mum though0 -
Morning all. WI for me tonight, not feeling very confident even though I have been pretty good! I've got a hectic few days ahead of me:
Tonight: visit Mr T and do a big shop to last me until after boxing day, cook tea, WI, possibly cinema and also fit a bath in somewhere!!
Thurs - rearrange the living room to make room for the tree (it's going to be a squeeze!!) then put up the tree and all the decorations.
Fri - works xmas meal
All this having not had a day off for 2 weeks, it probably won't end up being as bad as I'm expecting but I do feel a bit overwhelmed by it all!
I'm having a green day today:
Brekkie - beans, 2 small hardboiled eggs, ryvita (B)
Lunch - soup (2), maybe some more ryvita which I'll syn, melon & kiwi
Tea - spag bol (HEb for mince and HEA for cheese on top)
Snacks - fruit
Other HEA - milk in teas.0 -
morning,
weigh in last night wasnt too bad after all.
put on half a pound which is pretty good considering i have been off plan for 3 weeks!!
it is a great incentive to carry on and really try to get my 1 stone before xmas. only have 1.5lb to go!!0 -

Evening all
I haven't been on in a few days as I have been dying with the flu:( I am feeling mildly better today, well until the painkillers wear off;) Anyway, suffice to say I haven't been on plan AT ALL, as there is no way I had the energy to stand and cook...I haven't really been eating much anyway, but what I have eaten has pretty much been junk!
Hopefully I feel better tomorrow and manage to drag myself into the kitchen to make a nice SW lunch and dinner. I do seem to be getting my appetite back a bit.
((hugs)) for broken ankles, and well done's for brill losses:)
