    Morning all,

Bit of a dank, gloomy day here today, but at least it's not snowing.

WI last night, and it's a 1lb loss for me, and Master Sary got a whopping 2.5lb loss, and his first shiny sticker! Isn't he a star? He was determined to get that monkey I can tell you, and worked really hard this past week to keep his food in check. I'm so proud of him for taking all the SW principles on board, and taking complete responsibility for his food intake both inside and outside the home. We've also worked out that our scales at home are only about 0.5lb out from the class ones, which helps too. I'm still about 4lb short of my Christmas SW wish, and don't think 2 meals out this week are going to help much with that, but I am going to save all my syns up for the week to have on those 2 days. Last weigh in before Christmas next week, and then we weigh in again the day after Boxing Day (eek!). I've decided to have only 2 days of Christmas this year, otherwise it'll end up being 2 weeks, and I'll then be fighting the gains for another 2 months!

I was busy in the kitchen all day yesterday, and can officially say that I am absolutely not interested in eating any cake or chocolate at the moment, having been surrounded by it for 12 hours. I got lots done though, even if I was shattered by the end of the night.

    Food today : EE

    B - porridge, banana, satsuma
L - eggs on toast [HEB], with bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms
D - beef casserole, swede, carrots, parsnips, onions, garlic, tomatoes (and anything I find in the fridge)... I think we'll have it with rice
    HEA - milk
    Snacks will be satusmas/pineapple

Glad you're feeling better DKAM, and welcome TalulaR.

    Have a great day everyone.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

    Good afternoon all wavey.gif
Well done on the losses folks :T and hugs to those feeling poorley!

Well I made it through last night :j... about 1hr before we went out the heavens opened and it snowed eek.gif -by the time we left to go there was a good couple of inches on the floor allready.... lots of fun when wearing heels bundledup.gif -although it made it all festive n magical xmascheers.gifand its snowing again now...
Anyhoo the night was ok -still would have prefered to be snuggled on the sofa with a cuppa giggle.gif. The plus side to it was it was a confidence boost as I really didn't feel out of place, or that I stuck out like a sore thumb -secret.gif"truth be told I felt like a million dollars" bliss.gifand I was quite happy to move about -no wondering if I could squeeze through etc redface.gif. Now I didn't have dinner before I went -I just had a banana -and hubby was shocked when it came time for the buffet -now the old me would have refused to go up (they always send ladies first) -and then would have got hubby to get extra on his plate so I could snaffle some party0051.gif
Well last night I was one of the first to the buffet faint2.gif, I filled my plate with a hot pork n stuffing bap, pork pie, chicken wings, breaded chicken/mushrooms, tuna/egg/ham sandwiches and then plonked it in front of hubby as I didn't want any.... and I didn't care if anyone thought it was all for me banana%20dancer.gif. I really wasn't tempted by any of it... it was all beige confused.gif -oohh and I only drank fizzy water - 4lts of the stuff tongue.gif. So when we got home about 11:45 -I had my ryvitas (B) 28g cheddar (A) and a fibre plus bar (B) to use up my A+Bs and I enjoyed every crumb ..... but I didn't manage to use any syns at all yesterday 1461.gif.

So today is back to normal and Im having a red day that looks like this:-
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • 4 clementines
    • 1 apple
    • salmon fillet
    • beetroot
    • tickled bunions
    • apple
    • 100g rhubarb yoghurt (2)
    • Goan pork curry (1)
    • 198g potato (B) -wedged in :-
    • 1/4tsp oil (0.5)
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • fibre plus bar (B)
    • clementines
    • activia (2.5)
so thats 2A+Bs and 6 syns accounted for, I need to up the syns to make up for having none yesterday so I will do my best to get close to 15 syns used today..

Right I will get off for now... have a great day everyone and keep up the great work :j
    -6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.5

I'm back from Weigh-in and lost 3 lbs. So that's over 8 lbs lost - mind you that's in about 6 weeks.

Well done. The scenic route is not to be sniffed at.....remember the story about the tortoise and the hare :D

Well done to Master Sary, I hope he's very proud of himself. The peer pressure is huge at this age and he must have a very strong character to deal with it :T Oh and well done to you too of course :o

Mrs M, I'm glad you enjoyed your night out and you've every right to feel good about yourself, I bet you looked great :)

Welcome back to boredjellybean. Sorry I can't help with your recipe, I hate red cabbage, but I'm glad you managed to find the thread.
