Morning all, we've finally got to work for the first time this week...just got to get home again now! Having missed out on my Birthday I was lloking forward to going to my parents house tonight then out for lunch with my mum and a group of her friends at a VERY posh restaurant (Winteringham Fields for those of you who watched Ramsay's Best Restaurant). My Mum lives in the village where the restaurant is but they've had 10" more snow overnight so there's no point going over and risking getting stuck as we only have a change of underwear and my posh frock with us so I'll be missing out on that too :-(

Ah well, it's better than getting stuck in the middle of nowhere!!!

I'm struggling a bit to stick to the plan as I'm so out of routine!!! Hopefully today won't work out too bad, haven't been great all week but have had plenty of exercixe walking everywhere in deep snow and digging/pushing cars out!!! Not sure what we'll be having for tea but should be able to make it SW friendlyish!!! I'll go for an EE day I think:

Brekkie1 before setting off - Banana
Brekkie2 at work - banana & yogurt & mixed berrie
    Snack - pear
Lunch - salmon paste sandwich - HEB+ about 10 syns for extra slice of bread, scraping of marg and thin spread of the paste!! Its got cucumber and red onion in too!!
Tea - something with mince or bacon!!! Got plenty of frozen veggies and some salad too, not really salad weather though!!

I've also got some crisps for lunch and I doubt I'll be able to ignore them!! I did have to walk 1.5 miles to the car this morning and I'll have it to do again tonight as our road is so bad we're having to leave the car at a friend's house who's much nearer to the main road!!!

    That's great news - well done! :D:T

Stickler of a day for me?! Been religiously good this week, then came into work this morning and they're having a belated St Andrews days lunch this afternoon (should've been Tues obv, but was cancelled because of the weather!) which means steak pie, lentil soup and shortbread!

I was planning to save my syns for tonight - but I might have some of the lentil soup and just hope it isn't too high on the syns - I hate having to eat food that I haven't prepared and therefor don't know what's in it - but I'm a probationer teacher, so my attendance at these things is kind of mandatory (in the sense that it's heavily frowned on if you don't go! :()

I was planning to make gizzi's chicken katsu curry for tea, but I haven't figured out the syn value yet, I reckon the only syns will come from the flour and crushed cornflakes used to bread the chicken. Anyone happen to know the syn values of these off the top of their head?

I'm sorry I dont know the syns, but I do know that it is delish!!! :D
word of warning though, the first time I did it I put in the listed amount of soy sauce and honey, and it was not good, so the next time I only used a tiny dribble of each and it was spot on!

I was going to make a chickpea cake but instead I decided to eat a raw can of chickpeas, followed by three mugs of Options Hot Chocolate loaded up with sweetener, and then a raw egg shake. Then I'll just jump around a bit so it all mixes up inside me. 6 syns, whereas if I had eaten them together that would be 19 syns.

    Is that about right?

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::naughty:

Hope you're feeling OK after all that lot wootball :D

Glad we're not taking things too seriously.

.....opens door, and sneaks back in quietly....... :o

Due to a number of reasons I have had a month off SW :(. Personal stuff started it, then sheer greed and laziness  followed by a week's holiday in Canada.

I have put on 6.5lbs :( but hey it could be worse! I am still a stone lighter than when I started back on SW mid August.

I am totally back in the SW zone and am even more determined. Whilst on holidays one of my closest friends asked me to be her Maid of Honour at her wedding in the Bahamas in March 2012 :j This will be 2 weeks before my 30th and I do not want to be fat and 30, let alone a fat maid of honour at a beach wedding aged 30! :rotfl: So I am going to set that as my end goal to lose 5stone, and keep it off.

I know Dec is a hard month. I have 2 xmas do's, and xmas day to contend with. I am cooking on xmas day so at least I can control that! and the 2 do's I'll just flexi syn and do extra gym work.

I am going to try to post daily again as this really helped before.

I haven't eaten anything yet today as I'm jet-lagged as only got back yesterday. Going to have eggs on toast now. I need to do a food shop too as I have very little in, however it is currently snowing a bit so I will hold fire on that. I have enough SW friendly stuff to keep me going all weekend if needs be, just no fruit/veg other than tinned sweetcorn!

Hope you all have been doing well on your SW journeys
