Lynzpower & Dontknowanymore - peanut butter is also my downfall, love it and if its in the house its hard to resist, can eat it by the spoonful.....yum yum but oh so naughty!

Gunsandbanjos - well done for getting passed that hurdle yay:j

Flutterbyuk - aww hope personal stuff all ok now, maid of honour is definately a great incentive to get back on plan

I am definately on a bit of a roll this week, have stuck to plan and am also eating loads of speed foods, no social life planned for this weekend so should be able to stick to it :p hoping for a good weight loss on monday as have had small gains last couple of weeks

    Hope everyone is ok

    Good afternoon all
Well done on the losses folks :j
Its another cold one here -but very little snow -so far

Im having a red day today -which should look like this:-
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • activia (2.5)
    • banana
    • 4 clementines
    • chicken breast
    • tomato
    • gherkin
    • carrots
    • pepper
    • frozen tropical fruit
    • activia (2.5)
    • salmon fillet
    • 198g potato (B)
    • cauli
    • broccoli
    • carrots
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • fibre plus (B)
So thats 2A+Bs and 5 syns accounted for -and I will use some more syns as I go.....

Well I had to pop on and do a little banana%20dancer.gif
You know the other week I fell in love with some clothes and decided to order a 16 ready to slim into ready for summer ?(taking advantage of the sales wink.gif)-well the first bits arrived today and being a bit impatient *who-moi?* :rotfl:I thought I would try them on and see how far off they were *truth be told I wasn't expecting to get them over my shoulders* -and oh boy -they fit faint2.gif -and I mean FIT not tight or anything -although they will look better as I lose more and they are fuller......here are the 2 dresses (sorry they are tiny pics off the site)... and look everyone... Pretty colours bunnydance.gif -I am SOOOOOOO looking forward to not slopping around next summer in heavy black clothing ..

Im still more of an 18 truth be told -but when I started out on SW 32 weeks ago I never believed I could get this far -at my biggest I was a size 32 -now I KNOW I will get to a healthy BMI and size I want to be..
They couldn't have come at a better time as I got up this morning with one of my "don't know what I want to eat heads on" - I hate those days, I don't over eat -I usually don't eat enough -or properly -so those dresses arriving really helped focus me again :j.

Right I will get off for now and will pop back later
have a great day everyone and keep at it...

  • Blarg - some of the ladies in school have been doing a weekly WI on a Friday at lunch, I happened to pass today when the scales were out, so I jumped on - I'm actually 1.75 pounds HEAVIER than I was when I weighed on Sunday! :( Boo hiss! It's no fair! i'm living in hope it's because it's different scales and maybe the school ones are more accurate - I've been flipping starving for most of the week - so i will be absolutely gutted if it's all been for nothing!! :(

On a brighter note - well done mrsmcawber!!! :T:j Shiney new clothes in a smaller size is the best motivation ever! I'm so pleased for you!!

    xx

PS I love your banana%20dancer.gif too!!

Thanks CWM - and don't worry about what the scales said -every set weighs differently and it will alter depending on what time of day you weigh etc. Don't let them throw you off course ... scales are the tool of the devil ;) -as soon as I hit target Im having a scale smashing party in the garden and Im never owning a set again -I will go by how my clothes fit :D

Really dunno what to eat today or what day I am doing!!

    So far I have had

poached egg, garlicy mushrooms, quorn burger and beans
    grapes

I had that about 10ish so haven't been hungry.......I have mince beef to use up but not really sure whether I even feel like it!
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

  • Mrs M well done, that's a great loss overall! Fabulous frocks too. (just trying to remember what summer is like, though)

As for the cornflake and flour crumb on that chicken dish on the previous page, why not go the SW way and find the SW receipe for "kentucky fried" chicken, I believe it's coated in smashed up scan bran but I daresay a ryvita would do as well and probably taste better. I've never made it but it was discussed (possibly) in the last thread before this one. I bet Mrs M will know. That way you count the coating as part of your HEB.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
  • Evening all.
Still haven't left the house! :o will have to pop over the corner shop tommorrow though, hopefully it doesn't snow tonight!

    Breakfast
Sausage sarnie made with 2 Tesco LC sausages (2syn) 2 slices bread (Heb) onions and mushrooms, ketchup (1syn)

    Lunch
peanut butter sandwich (17 syns) I have no idea what possessed me, I was making one for the baby and well you know the rest lol I have thrown the rest of it in the bin now.

    Tea
Steak, potatoes, mange tout, baby corn, onions, gravy (2syn) clover light (1syn)

    Snacks
Strawberries and blueberries, danone fat free yog
'Flubber' (0.5syn) this thing I made with the jelly and yogurts, it's 1.5 syn for the jelly, so I split it into 3, the boys shared 1/3 and i will have the other 1/3 tonight then tommorrow.

    Total syns
    23.5

Ok I am a bit peeved with myself but not going to let it get me down, just going to carry on as normal with my tea tonight and seeing as I rarely go over 10 syns a day I'm hoping today will not hinder my loss next week too much.

Not doing too badly today, but I sense what will happen later, that chocolate is calling me from the fridge  I shall try to be ahem measured

I also havent left the house today! At least Ive spent no money lol

    berries & yog
mushrooms egg, 1/2 tin beans potato cake
more potato cake & the rest of the beans
    ww hoops 3.5
    HEB cereal bar

I know OH is so not going to want the Quorn burgers for tea tonight he is going to feel hard-done-to as its not meat, even though he said it would be fine- when I bought them- he is going to suggest a chinese I know it but we so cant afford!

GAH at the syns in thePeanut butter. There was someone who stirred P-butter into quark, and used it as a low syn spread. Cant remember how much she used tho? Was it you susan??
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
