Ohh redmel.... sounds like a deal :j...I promise to keep them warm
The food situation out here is quite good -they seem to have a system where the staple basic foods are kept at a reasonable price then there is quite a jump in price if you want to buy a lot of the ready made stuff. Luckily I don't buy ready made stuff. Also when they "whoops" things they do it when there are at least 3 days left on the date :T. A lot of what in my freezer now is from the naffi (which I try not to use as for most stuff you need a mortgage) -but when they get good deals in I swoop.
We do get hammered with things like instant coffee - €6 for a 200g jar
I have got worse since I started SW -as I need to know that I have plenty in that I can make scrummy meals from. On the upside it means I don't get caught out and end up in the takeaway :j
oooh and a "lumpadin" is what I call dumplings -sorry :rotfl:
Crap-with-money - Good luck with the giving up bread, I did the same when I started SW (I was a carb junky) and now Im on week 32 and still haven't had any, and Im not missing it at all

Maybe you could try throwing another cereal into the mix now and again? I think there was quite a comprehensive list a few pages back! I usually try and just have fruit and yoghurt, mostly just because it's quick and I'm always in a hurry in the mornings, plus I like to save my HEB/A's for later, as I like to have things like crackerbread and milk if I'm feeling peckish.
Other than that - maybe some toast? You could do some scrambled eggs to go with it pretty quickly in the micro? I'm still trying to get back into the swing of it myself so I'm a bit rusty, but I'll get my thinking cap on and let you know if I think of anything else!
Are these green days you've been doing? I always find I lose more weight on red days? I generally try to have at least 3 red in the week.
When you say "bag of multi-pack quavers" is that just the one packet of crisps?

PS Hope you have a fantastic time in Mexico dizzy! We were there 2 summers ago, and it was easily the best holiday I've ever had!0

Saving my syns for tomorrow and Saturday!Anyone any suggestions for nice relatively low syn puddings?

I was going to suggest Merlot or Sauvignon Blanc for the weekend:D that's what I'll be having.
I'll be interested to know about the juice as I've been having NAS squash with breakfast and it would be good to have a change.
I find it's really difficult to change HEAs and Bs. I have bread and milk almost every day unless I have cereal/porage for breakfast. So all HEs are gone with breakfast and some drinks through the day. I don't like yoghurt and have been trying to make only minor changes to breakfast as OH cooks it and he's really doing his best to support me. I suppose I do have similar food but it's on a sort of rota basis - at least 6 different breakfasts. Evening meals are much the same (I cook them) but probably on a two week cycle. On average I'm losing about 1.5lbs a week.
Our WI was cancelled today but I'm not too concerned. My main worry is that there isn't going to be much fruit and veg in the shops when I get there next. I just hope I can manage to make SW friendly stuff from freezer and cupboards.0 -

Mrsm is our resident superstar
I had to go cold turkey on Bread too....I could easily eat my way through most of a loaf of warburtons thick white in a day if I was left to it
Ive not had any since June, I think I only struggled for the 1st few days then I was ok. Its only in this last week that Ive allowed a rare chiabatta or paninni as my once a week weekend easy kind of tea/supper - but it doesnt do me any favours as I can feel myself bloating when Ive eaten it anyway....but I really like tuna cheese melt0 -
