So you think my body just needs a shake up?
Ok, i'll try the blow out day and then do the SW week on the website.
Sorry, i've mainly been doing EE as red and green confuses me. I saw someones green mealplan yesterday and they HEB'd some weighed meat. I dont get why you'd do that and call it green as it can be EE????
I was reading about someone doing a fast forward plan. Is that also something worth looking into or is it only for SW members?
whichever you do just don't beat yourself up about it,do you poo often? is Aunt Flo due? (no answers needed-rhetorical questions!) you're STILL 9lbs lighter than when you started, thats good!!!0 -
People eat meat on a green day as it then means you can have the extra HE's
In saying that when I go green, I dont eat meat on those days and to be honest that is fine for me.
Instead I will make something with quorn or a veggie meals, not a problem.
I personally always used to do EE however, now with the weather being what it is, and the sort of fruit & veg that is in season, I personally find green easier as you dont have to have quite as much superfree. And you can have 2x HEB's & As which is good in this weather. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Thats the thing with EE, it's ok for things like spag bol, or chilli, but sometimes I want the extra HE's.
I don't think I have ever done a red day.0 -
Just worked out that I ate 33.5 syns last night (Doner meat and chips) and then have already used 12 syns today (Hi-fi bar and a curly wurly). I'm out drinking with the lads on Saturday night too!
Oh well, syn free for the rest of the weekWhatever doesn't kill me, can only make me stronger.

I havent ever done a red day either! lol I think its a summer thing personally, lots of lovely chicken salads!
I would in a way prefer today to be green, as I dont really have a lot of fruit in =- as i said
Dinner is left over steak chilli, now I remember when I cooked it, I was being a bit scant with the meat as it was expensive.I am certain there isnt even 85g in the portion.
But I cant very well weigh it now in its tupperware lol
Is meat a HEB? They are the ones I want the most, I struggle with the extra HEA on green and have to force a bit of cheese in as I drink skimmed milk in my tea and seldom manage to have a full pint ( unless i have cereal) HEBs are the extras I like for an extra cereal bar, or bread roll AND cereal bar IYSWIM:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? I'm not sure they will have me in the mag though since there are so many fundamentals of the plan that I don't agree with and I won't pander to them for the sake of being in a magazine. Most of it is great but I know there is stuff that is just illogical or unnecessary and so I don't do it.

Will be another green day here.
Just dropped DD at school:T First day in this week, then i trudged to Tesco. Really concentrates the mind on what you NEED to buy when you know you have to carry it all home:eek: Couldn't be faffed with the car, would have needed to dig it out.
Had a coffee before i took DD to school. Just having my usual breakfast - cup of tea, activia (0.5), nana and alpen light x 2(B).
Bought more stuff for making lentil soup - this is definitely soup weather! The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

The concept of having to use syns is one. Nobody needs to use syns, especially if they are eating a high amount of food classed as free. Losing weight is still just a matter of calories in vs calories out, regardless of where they come from. You could eat 30 syns per day and not have enough calories to survive, dropping ridiculous weight and killing yourself. You could also eat 10 packets of savoury rice (completely free) with a third of veg for every meal, use your 15 syns and put on serious amounts of weight despite having followed the plan to the letter.
Also, the concept of synning things for misuse. Fruit I understand since it is high sugar, but if I can make extremely thin chips covered with Fry Light that are free, crisps are no different. The cellular structure doesn't change, the cooking method doesn't change. Also the chickpea/cous cous cake - imagine I blended the chickpeas and ate them on their own with a spoon and then had an Options Hot Chocolate afterwards, that would be 1.5 syns. But if I put them together, it's about 13. No.
There doesn't seem to be much nutritional science behind some of the decisions - being one of the things I know a lot about, those are the parts of the plan I know I can safely ignore.Whatever doesn't kill me, can only make me stronger.

Morning everyone. Hope you are all having a good day.
Wootball - I have to agree with you as someone who has studied nutriton too. Some of the the SW rules do seem a bit strange and don't always make sense but as the overall ethos of the plan is something I agree with (healthy eating) and it works I sort of ignore them like you do.
Beef and red wine casserole simmering on the cooker at the moment for dinner later along with a big plate of veggies.
