Good Morning everyone,
So day one for me and am really looking forward to it. Am up earlier than usual because I couldn't wait to start planning my meals and shopping lists ( how sad am i lol).
I have to say i can't believe how much free food there is, compared to ww, and hope I can get my head round it all.
Breakfast is going to be one slice of wholemeal with a scrambled egg, and mushrooms done in water and some stock cube, would I be right in thinking that it free apart from the bread which is a HE?
Another question is If I use less syns, will I loose weight quicker or does it not matter?
ThanksI would like to be able to admire a man’s opinions as I would his dog - without being expected to take it home with me."

Yes it's all free apart from the HE bread, is it from a small loaf?
As far as the syns go, I don't think it wll speed up the weightloss process, but not using up syns might make you feel deprived, I try to stick at 10 syns max per day then I know I have a bit of leway, sometimes I don't use as many (not often) and sometimes I go up to 15 if I want to, ok so I am only on my 4th week but I lost 7.5lb in 3 weeks, and I had been ill twice over that time.
Good luck with it!0 -
No it's an 800g Hovis wholemeal. My wee book says a slice of wholemeal which weighs 58g is a HE and that slice was 40g according to the info.I would like to be able to admire a man’s opinions as I would his dog - without being expected to take it home with me."

Morning all, seem to be trapped. even the Real Men who live near me haven't attempted to drive out their cars todayI will slide out later and check out the main A road but it's 1.5 miles away so quite a trek.
Irishmummy, rather than boiling mushrooms in stock, they will cook beautifully in your microwave with a spray of frylight or oil and a sprinkling of black pepper. Enough for me takes about 1.5 mins, of course it depends if you like your mushrooms really floppy or barely cooked or somewhere in between, but I think they might be tastier miked than boiled that's all. Enjoy your breakfast!:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Morning all,
Still snowy here in the capital buit do have to pop out for some more "stuff" later dont know whether to get it over with now before it starts snowing again or stay in the warm hmm
Another green day today and it goes like this:
Breakfast- banana berries and yog
Lunch - left over quorn lasagne
Dinner - the chickpea and spinach curry from the world of flavours along with rice and maybe a naan for OH that will be HM.
If I'm still hungry Ill make eggs beans and mushrooms I guess
HEBs will either be a bread roll, cereal bars ( if I can get any Alpen lites or hifis) or all bran
HEA will be a tin bit of the cheese on the leftover lasagne and skimmed milk.
Again feeling like i might actually be able to manage it today. I do feel being at home is a LOT easier tho.
Need to test the flask in a bit and make some soup to take tomorrow in it, if it works!
Hope everyone has a great day and tries to keep warm as best as you can! Hope no one is flying out of gatwick, dizzy thinking of you with all these airport closures, hoping that all is clear for your take off:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Morning Peeps
Weve had another fairly hefty covering of the white stuff again last nightand OH went onto the balcony this morn and didnt even sink in it  yowzer!!! its frozen solid like ice! Im getting a little worried now about the travel plans for sunday night/early hours monday to manchester airport.....:( weve managed to bribe our student nephew in his little old skoda to take us (a much better car in the snow than our stupid MX5 ) for a £50 fee & a bottle of tequilla LMAO :rotfl:
Dont think I will make WI tomorrowand Ive had to cancel Physio today and my neuro appt at pinderfields for Friday cos I reallly dont fancy me and the MIL going on the motorway in this weather
OH NOOOOOOO the snows just starting again  off to get my brekki and will post my menu shortly0 -
Yes, ever so glad we are not driving , I just wouldnt fancy this at all right now!
I really hope it thaws out for you dizzy. Can you get a train there, if not?
I know theres a train station at manchester airport? Maybe you could find a last min hotel near the airport just in case? xx:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Yeah we maybe could do that, Its just the getting from here to the station (our communal carpark and the road leading up to the apartments on a hill is really bad aparently....tho Ive not been out to look lol) and Im non too good on my feet at the best of times  Im sure we will figure something out tho
OH is out and about with work so he will touch base with others from the firm re whats happening. This really serves me right for saying to my Bro that I hoped it snowed when we set off LOL

Morning folks, i'm back. Had a couple of days off plan - was working my way through my freezer to defrost it and had bought some nice stuff from M&S which was reduced.
Freezer all defrosted and all bad stuff banished:D
Just had a coffee from my milk allowance. Will think about breakfast in a bit.
Got some lentil soup defrosting and will have that for lunch with a HM roll.
Was thinking of trying EE, when you need 1/3 superfree with a meal i understand it is to stop you overeating other stuff. But is it ok to have it right before rather than with your meal?
Say for example i want pasta and bolognaise. Can i munch an apple a pepper and a carrot just before i have it and then just have pasta and sauce?
Probably a silly question:o No laughing at the back:pThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0
