Good morning from a very
me .... we are at -14 right now
....although we have had no more snow -so just a smattering lying here right now!
I have called hubby at work and he is doing a "top up shop" on his way home -makes more sense than him coming home to collect me to go back where he came from
Well done on the losses again everyone :T
I defrosted the bird bath this morning -we have a big upturned dustbin lid, and I have just been out again and it had set solid....I had to turn it over and pour hot water on the bottom to turn it out . Anyhow its now full of lovely warm water and the birds are having their very own jacuzzi
.
Anyway -apart from the cold Im tickity boo
Im having another green day today -- 250ml semi (A)
- 4 plums
- banana
- jacket potato
- 2 corn cobs
- activia (2.5)
- apple
- orange
- Spanish rice with chicken n chorizo (6)
- 250ml semi (A)
- fibre plus (B)
I have been sneaky with my plan today -I could have gone EE and not use so many syns up on dinner BUT by paying for the chicken and chorizo on a green day means I get 2A+Bs-so it works out better.
Im really looking forward to dinner as I love that rice dish. ooohh the cheesy bacon lasagne was a hitso I will post the recipe later...I even remembered to make note of what I used *very unlike me*
Right Im off -have a great day everyone and keep warm!!-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
In this cold weather I used to love granola with hot milk for breakfast - I was just wondering if there are any granola-type cereals that I can have as a HEB???Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....
Why Put Off Until Tomorrow What You Can Do Today? :A0 -

Say for example i want pasta and bolognaise. Can i munch an apple a pepper and a carrot just before i have it and then just have pasta and sauce?
Probably a silly question:o No laughing at the back:p:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

Morning all, we're very much snowed in here, there hasn't been a single car attempt to get down our street, not even those with 4x4s!!! Theres about 20" in most areas and more wher it has drifted!!! We walked to the shop this morning to get some supplies before they sold out of everything and it was really weird.....we could walk down the middle or the main road, right in the middle of rush hour and only had to move a hanful of time for a few very brave people attempting to get through! We've loads more snow forecast for the next few days so I can't see us going anywhere far for a while. It's a good thing walking in the snow is such hard work, I'll need to burn plenty of calories as my stock of SW friendly foods is running low....tonight should have been my supermarket night!0

I'm right at the top of the valley here and my apartment overlooks more or less everywere, The main A650 road at the bottom is now fully covered - I can just see a faint track mark where the cars are managing to still drive on it.
OH cleared the top of the balcony wood this morn to put cheese digestives and fruit cake out for the wood pigeons & Crow that visit from the nearby fields.....and there is a good 4" of snow back there already on the cleared bit - and the remaining food is buried0 -

Nobody dies if I don't go into work so I am not going to stress about it.

Were staying at the Sensatori resort in Playa Riviera south of Cancun... can't wait to sample the Mojito bar where they apparently have over 20 different flavours.
Is this the same side you are going or are you going westside? I went to Acapulco about 20 years ago with mom, dad, brother & sister."People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0 -
Afternoon!
So much for me being a lurker!
I treid the pudding rice this morning _pale_ now I remeber why I haven't let rice pudding pass my lips since that fateful day 21 years ago when the dinner lady stood over me and forced me to eat it  even the baby spat it out and he eats anything I give him!
Just a quick question, can I have a green day if I syn the sausages I'm having for tea and having no other meat?0 -

Yes you can use your syns on anything you want, so no problem with synning sausages on a green day."People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0
