Morning folks, i'm back. Had a couple of days off plan - was working my way through my freezer to defrost it and had bought some nice stuff from M&S which was reduced.

Freezer all defrosted and all bad stuff banished:D

Just had a coffee from my milk allowance. Will think about breakfast in a bit.

Got some lentil soup defrosting and will have that for lunch with a HM roll.

Was thinking of trying EE, when you need 1/3 superfree with a meal i understand it is to stop you overeating other stuff. But is it ok to have it right before rather than with your meal?
Say for example i want pasta and bolognaise. Can i munch an apple a pepper and a carrot just before i have it and then just have pasta and sauce?

Probably a silly question:o No laughing at the back:p

    giggle.gif Im not laughing.........just a tiny weeny giggle ;)

Yup you can have you're superfree before or have fruit as a pud hun ;)x x

    Morning all!

It's interesting to hear about the snow across the country - here is is still coming down like a fine dusting of icing sugar, everything is coated but it's very wet, not icy.

Went over my syns yesterday by having a slice of bread...don't even know why now. totally pointless.

So today I am doing syn damage-limitation and another Green day

Brekkie - Activia 0% yog, apple
Egg in a wholewheat roll (HEB1)
Lunch - cold pasta, philly (2 syns), green beans, mushrooms, red peppers, bit of garlic and herbs
Snack - 2 Ryvita (HEB2) with extra light laughing cow (HEA1) and cucumber
Dinner - 5 bean chilli with tinned toms, spices, mixed veg, rice and some low fat cheddar on top (HEA2)
Dessert - Options hot choc (2 syns)

Total - 4 syns and 2 of each HE

I read somewhere that there is 1 syn per average marshmallow - is that right? was thinking of popping a few into my hot choc as a treat!!

Again, any advice / comments / suggestions welcome!

Thanks - and hooray it's the 1st December! Time to dig out the Xmas decorations!!! :D

I don't see why not, it's like a 'starter' and i guess it's the same as having pasta and bolognaise with a big side salad.

But if you didnt want to eat it first you could always chop the carrot and pepper up small and cook it into the bolognaise sauce.

  • Morning everyone, v v cold here, it reached -20 in the night and is forcast to be -25 the weekend... good job I am in Brussels for the Christmas markets, I hope it is a bit warmer than that!

Just finished the WiiFit... just 40 mins today.

I am not sure what to eat today as I am not really in the mood to to prepare anything :(:(

    Today will be green
    B - Last bit of fritatta (F) sauce (1)
    L - pasta I suppose as it's quick (F)
    D - Beef casserole (B) veggies (F) mash potato (2)
    Snx - mandarins (F) and not sure what else I need to use A's & a B.

My problem at the moment is not the fact I am going off plan by overeating it is that I am going off plan by not eating enough and I really can't get motivated to start eating properly again... any advice?

    xx

Perhaps look online or in some books for some new recipe ideas? buy some different meats, or veg, for a change. If you change the kind of food you make it might help you enjoy eating a bit more...?

Not been around here in a while - as I worried at the start I think the whole thread is a little bit girly for me so I tend to stay away, but still want to report in here every so often.

3 1/2 stone gone in 17 weeks, but I seem to have had real trouble in losing the last few weeks, with only a 1.5lb drop. It's weird. I must admit I caved last Wednesday and had a medium Domino's American Hot and 2 pieces of garlic bread, followed by a Hot Chocolate. I tried to counteract that by being pretty much syn free for the rest of the week and going to the gym three times (tough in this weather) so God knows what my weigh-in tonight is going to be like.
