Yeah, I could...but it's 4 of these triangles for a HEA and I only had two. And I hadn't had any other syns today, so thought I'd better have some...:rotfl:

I suppose I could have a glass of wine when I have a bath later? Hmmm...:D

hi everyone , not a regular poster but a regular reader and love to read how everyone is getting on, i just wondered ......... does anyone know if "quaker paw ridge" ( microwave fine ground oats) is a HeB ? likewise oats so simple ( original)

Thanks in advance and best wishes to everyone x

The oats so simple (the plain one) is a HEB and I am pretty sure the quaker micro oats is too, but not prepared to say for sure. But pretty sure. I think:o!

Oh it wasn't something mrs m had written.
I was just thinking of using my 2nd HEB on it.

You just microwave your 2 alpen lights for a max of 30 seconds (choc & fudge and choc & orange are best) and it softens it to make a pretend cheesecake base. Then for quickness i pour Activia yogurt on top and eat.
Or you can make up some lemony quark and put it on, pop in the fridge and have a cheesecake.

    Tis lovely.

Thanks Billee, good idea! I'll try that cos I do like Alpen lights, those 2 flavours.

glass of wine for me too .... our class is cancelled, I texted Miss to let her know I couldn't make it after abandoning car and struggling home on icy hill, I'm not venturing out again - and she said she was cancelling, she lives about 18 miles away. Dont blame her. Also glad cos I'm feeling a little bloated/fat so didn't really want to be weighed. Have had no syns yet today (until the wine is poured) BUT I have to say I do really like SWquiche on a potato base, I made some more this morning with just bacon, eggs, grated cheese, and onions. I never thought I would like quiche cos it always has that horrible soggy pastry underneath! :D

and Nessie well done!!!!!! you deserve it with that horrible DIET for a week though.

Happy Birthday Lisa! If it's cold and you have no food defrosted why not grab what you can from the freezer and get all snug and comfy in bed and have a Beddy Birthday Picnic?
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

I was asking the other day why Philly isn't like other cheeses but instead goes in the bread category for HEs????

It does not have enough calcium in it to count as a HEA

And it is a HEB on green days only - not red or EE - for the protein content

On Red and EE they assume you will get your protein from meat and fish and so rather than risk you taking philly as a HEB and getting even more protein they make you use your HEB on high fibre foods instead

I've found out from the SW website that the 1% Sainsburys milk allowance is 250ml, which is no different from semi-skimmed. What's the deal with that? I might as well have the extra fat if that's the case.

It is to do with the fat content
    Skimmed has 0.1-0.3%
    1% has 1% (doh)
    Semi skimmed has 1.7%

But if you use any other 1% brand other than sainsbury you are allowed 300mls so that is a bit better!

I was wondering about this as I have rice milk which has 1% fat and 0.1% saturated fat but i can only have 250ml, the same amount allowed as semi-skimmed which has 1.7% fat and 1% saturated fat. So I am confused why it's just as limited given that is has practically no sat fat.

that sounds nice, would you mind posting the recipe please??
