I've found out from the SW website that the 1% Sainsburys milk allowance is 250ml, which is no different from semi-skimmed. What's the deal with that? I might as well have the extra fat if that's the case.

Totally agree sarymclary, I find some of the syn values etc quite unfathomable. I was asking the other day why Philly isn't like other cheeses but instead goes in the bread category for HEs???? I suppose it makes commercial sense for them not to explain these things. There's a certain mystique to food optimising.

Oh and, by the way, who is going to eat the chocolate in the Advent calendar seeing as you can only have Day 24?:)

I just had a yummy hot lunch. I fried a rasher of chopped bacon with a chopped onion then added a load of LO veg that I'd shoved in the freezer after dinner a few weeks ago. Mostly broccoli and cauli but a bit of potato too. Well seasoned with a few mixed herbs and sprinkled liberally with Worcestershire sauce and I had a few beetroots on the plate. Very tasty. I'm looking forward to more bubble&squeak stuff at Christmas with loads of free cold, cooked meats. Mmmm!

I agree and also I wonder if certain manufacturers have a 'deal' with them. It seems unlikely to say the very least to me that a Lidl 'diet' yogurt is worse for you than a Muller or Shape etc? I confess to being a very cynical person though, so if someone knows different I would be interested to know:D

Evening all. Thanks for the Birthday wishes, I'm feeling a bit less miserable now although my day has turned out rather badly!! We're snowed in quite badly now! We were meant to be going to my mum's for cake then out for tea but we've had to cancel as it's 30 miles away and we can't even get out of our road!! Not sure if we'll get to work tomorrow, apparently there's loads of lorries stuck. Just trying to work out what to have for tea as I have nothing out of the freezer! Oh and I'm saying nothing about the bicuits I made myself to cheer me up!!!

  • oooooooooooooooo been off plan cos of this horrible horrible sore throat thingy combined with cold that I have but I've just spoke to the consultant who runs the class tomorrow night that I want to go to, hopefully it should be on but she's gonna text me to let me know.
I think after speaking to her I'm gonna transfer to her group cos her voice, manner and attitude reminds me of my warm lovely aunty beryl.

Think I may have found MY consultant.............. my god it was easier finding mr right.

well done nessie for that fantastic loss and happy birthday lisa

    Green day for me :

    HEA1 : Milk in teas

    B : All Bran HEB1, ML + berries

    L : JP, cheese HEB2 + beans

D : WM pasta + HM tomato, onion and red pepper sauce. Had 2 cheese triangles mixed through it 3 syns

    Snacks : Fruit - 2 satsumas, 1 apple

I've caved in and had a glass of wine :) Have done the same as last week and deducted the whole 25 syns now so that I don't have to count every glass.

So that's 69.5 syns left for the rest of the week
