Morning all, not sure what I'm eating today, feeling a bit fed up. Out for tea as it's my birthday and there's some leek and celery soup in the fridge so I guess I'll have that for lunch.0

Morning All,
Just to let you know that fast forward does work
WI last night and lost 9.5lbs!
:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
So i got off the 8.5lbs i put on over 2 weeks & some!
Carrying on with the plan for the rest of this week as i have no social plans until next week!
Mind you it is extremely hard - especially when you are eating a ready meal with less than 350 cals & everyone else is eating quiches, meats, lovely smelling bread, butter, pate, crab, chocolates, guey chocolate torte with cream etc. etc.
I was proud of myself of sticking with my pear, apple & plum for afters!
To congratulate myself i had a bowl of porridge (not on the plan!) after my dinner last night! And treated myself to a bit of milk in my evening coffee!
Fingers crossed i can loose between 4.5lbs and 9lbs this week to reach either how much i had lost before the wedding! or my 4.5st shiney!
Good luck to everyone - sending you all very positive vibes x

WHat's fast forward? I'm guessing it's something to speed up losses x
Fast forward is a straight-jacket of a plan! Very hard - my consultant reccommended it & it is not given out willy nilly - i had a very bad couple of weeks & needed a kick up the backside!
An example of fast forward - what i am having today
Drink 500ml water every morning, afternoon & evening
B - 42g muesli with 5 hazelnuts & 200ml skimmed milk (YUK!)
S - 2 rich tea finger biscuits
L - 2 slices nimble with 42g reduced fat cheddar & plum
S - Small bag skips
D - 1 medium courgette, i small onion, 6 button mushrooms, 1/2 pepper, 2 stick celery, 198g chopped toms, 57g dry weight pasta & 142g raw weight carrot with 55g pot cadburys light mousse
S - Fun size choco bar
It doesn't sound quite a bit writing it down! But it's hard to keep motivated & you need to plan in advance!
Cannot snack on anything! NO FREE FOOD WHATSOEVER!!!
This time last week was 2nd day and i was starving - but doing ok today - my stomach must have shrunk!
If i take anything away from this plan it is to drink plenty of water & have some form of breakfast & reduce my portion sizes slightly (i didn't know the meaning of full before!):T:j:T:j:T AWWW NESSIE IM SOOOOO PLEASED FOR YOU!!!
especially seeing as you had been feeling so crappy with your poorly back too(how are things with that now...and the nasty Co-Codamol effects ) x x
Thanks Dizzy
Stopped taking the co-codamol on saturday & took some senna to help 'move' things on sunday - seemed to do the trick, but still not quite back to normal yet!
Back hasn't been too bad without taking the tablets - still need ibruprofen now & again but nothing to worry about - must of strained it or something!
Thanks for all your support - fingers crossed for good week this week!0 -
:bdaycake:Happy birthday Lisa! :bdaycake: Don't be fed up, you've got snow for your birthday!:snow_laug
I forgot to say well done Nessie! Fast Forward clearly works, and is fab for damage limitation, and undoing, but I suspect it's harder to do with the restricted amounts, than the free food we're all used to.
Dizzy the soup actually thickened up considerably, so I added about 2 more pints of stock to it. I think the rice and mushy peas helped to do that. I was telling my class last night all about dyno-rod soup, and now they all want to make some. It could be rather windy in these parts this week! I have to admit it's already been shooting through in our house, by golly it works!
I tried the pudding rice with a muller & banana this morning, but I think the wrong flavour muller can really take the enjoyment away.... don't try it with the muller strawberry cheesecake, because it's really not nice. I didn't have any of the choc sprinkles ones left.
Lunch is going to be more soup, then a slow cooked bolognese for dinner tonight.
I've found out from the SW website that the 1% Sainsburys milk allowance is 250ml, which is no different from semi-skimmed. What's the deal with that? I might as well have the extra fat if that's the case. Here's the breakdown of nutrients for comparison:
The nutritional composition of 1% fat milks is as follows (per 100ml):
Energy 40kcal
Protein 3.1g
Carbohydrate 4.6g
Sugars 4.6g
Fat 1.0g
Saturates 0.6g
Fibre 0.0g

Calcium 126mg
Semi-skimmed Nutrition Per 100ml

Sugars 5.0g
Fat 1.7g
Saturates 1.0g
Salt 0.14g

Sugars 5.0g

Food plan for today is:
EE
B - rice, muller ch/cake (1 syn), banana
L - dyno-rod soup, plum
D - bolognese, wholewheat pasta, parmesan (1.5syns)
HEA - 250ml (grrr!) 1% milk
HEB - Kelloggs Fibre+ bar
You won't believe the willpower I've used today. I've bought a wooden advent calendar, the sort with drawers on the front that you can fill yourself. I've filled it with Quality Street & Minature Heroes this morning, and the gorgeous smell of the chocolate tub was immense. OH had a couple, testing for 'quality control'. I put them away again. I've vowed to myself I won't have any treats until Christmas is actually here, so it's got to be Christmas Eve before I indulge.
Our SW class is open on 27th December, so will have to weigh in the day after I've had my Christmas dinner (I do it on Boxing Day, because I got fed up of not seeing the boys open their gifts & enjoy them, because I was stuck in the kitchen getting stressed out... hard to cook with a pack of batteries in one hand, and a screwdriver in the other)! At our class we've all put a wish on the SW Christmas tree (written on a love heart sticker), with a goal we'd like to reach by our pre-Christmas weigh-in. Mine is 7lb before Christmas, so that I'll get my 1 stone shiny. There's incentive to keep me on the straight and narrow!
I'd really like to get to the gym today, but I'm on day 2 of waiting in for the gas boiler repairman, because we have water dripping out of our's and I'm scared the heating is going to pack up. If this carries on I'm going to have to get the wii-fit out. Speaking of which, has anyone else with the Wii-fit got 'My Fitness Coach: Dance Workout' ? I've read a few reviews, and I like the idea of dancing for exercise, but want to know if it's worth it?
Right, off to reheat some of my soup now.... oh, and it's snowing again here!:cool:One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
