Morning All,
Just to let you know that fast forward does work
WI last night and lost 9.5lbs!
:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
So i got off the 8.5lbs i put on over 2 weeks & some!
Carrying on with the plan for the rest of this week as i have no social plans until next week!
Mind you it is extremely hard - especially when you are eating a ready meal with less than 350 cals & everyone else is eating quiches, meats, lovely smelling bread, butter, pate, crab, chocolates, guey chocolate torte with cream etc. etc.
I was proud of myself of sticking with my pear, apple & plum for afters!
To congratulate myself i had a bowl of porridge (not on the plan!) after my dinner last night! And treated myself to a bit of milk in my evening coffee!
Fingers crossed i can loose between 4.5lbs and 9lbs this week to reach either how much i had lost before the wedding! or my 4.5st shiney!
Good luck to everyone - sending you all very positive vibes x0 -

I have been going through some old posts and it seems so strange to be about free foods. I really think i might struggle with this, as nothing is really free on ww.
Wish me luck!

I've been doing SW for 2 months now (never been on any sort of diet before) so am still quite new. I've been unhappy with my weight creeping up for almost 10 years and if I'd known it was this easy I'd have done it years ago.
Good luck with tonight,Irishmum. That first weigh in is uncomfortable, but you're not on your own (both at your group and on here) and then the only way is down!!Well today's EE food looks like this:-
B - yoghurt and strawberries
S - 2 alpen light bars and apple
L - quiche, salad, velvet crunch
S - apple
D - not sure yet
Unless you happen to be in Dubai or somewhere Primmer, I'd say you need some hot food inside you:p0 -
Morning all.
Irishmummy - I joined SW 3 weeks ago, and have constantly struggled with the concept of 'free food', and trying to comprehend how I could possibly lose weight, and keep eating so much food. I weighed in last night, and I've now lost 9lb. I feel like I've eaten more than I've had in the past few years, but the crucial thing here is that it's much healthier food, and I am not gorging myself. There are free foods, but you have to still keep a certain element of portion control in there too, but, that doesn't mean you go hungry. Eat until you aren't hungry, but, and here's the really clever bit, because you know in the back of your mind that you could eat anything (in plan) at any time of the day if you want to, the yearning to constantly graze through the day just seems to not happen. Maybe at certain times of the month I will feel more cravings, but I can work those into my syns, and if I want to have a choc bar every day for a week, I can, and still lose weight! I did WW years ago, and struggled to keep within my points. I was sick to death of sugar free jelly in the end. What I like about SW, and especially the Extra Easy aspect, is that I can have a full roast dinner, and still have Yorkshires, and still have plenty of syns left over. Just have a look at the daily food plans people log each day on here to give you ideas, and inspiration for meals. You have to make it fit in around you, so that you don't ever feel restricted. Good luck tonight! I have to admit my 1st weigh in was a total shock, I weighed half a stone more there, than on my scales at home (1st thing in the morning, rather than fully clothed at night). Just follow the plan, and see how it works.
Weighed in last night and lost 2lb, so that's put me up to 9lb now. Very pleased with that. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Im on a green day as well today and DETERMINED to get it right today:
Im staying home today and so far have had
1/2 heb all bran with skim milk
Bowl of berries and yog
Proper breakfast will be eggs, beans, mushrooms and maybe if i can get it to work a potato cake made from some left opver mash from last night
Lunch will either be pasta and sauce (F) couscous and salad ( should eat this as salad on its way out) Jacket potato with chickpea dhal ( asdas)
Dinner is quorn lasage which I made up last night will do some garlic bread sticks for OH but I shall go without :A will have some cheese on for my HEA2
Other HEB will probably be bread or a weetabix bar
I am feeling optimistic that I might actually manage it today. :j:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Good luck for tonight - I was a WW girl through n through but I have been doing SW for 32 weeks now and you couldn't get me to swap to another plan if you paid me... I LOVE LOVE LOVE SW :happyhear. Just tell yourself that for the 1st week you will just do exactly what the plan says (and ignore your WW urges) and see what the scales say -thats what I had to do -I bet you will be pleasantly suprised :T
Lightsfading -hope you feel better soon
Well done on the great losses again ladies :T
