Thanks for coming out of lurkdom to share the good news and congratulations:T
I've been to WI this morning and lost 1.5lbs. I'm delighted as it's taken me past 1 stone. I took great pleasure in picking up that bag thing at group which weighs a stone. It really brings it home. I'm hoping for Club 10 by Christmas.
Keep at it everyone, it's sooooo worth it!0 -
Morning all. It's freeeeeezing here!! No snow yet though thank goodness but there's heavy snow not far from here apparently! I'm meant to be going to Manchester to the Trafford Centre tomorrow with my Mum but I'm not sure if we'll go now incase its dead snowy over there or starts to get bad while we're there......tackling the M62 over the penines in snow can't be the best idea!!! I'll be disappointed though, I was looking forward to it! We'll go somewhere more local instead but it'll be Lincoln or something and we go there quite a bit so its a bit boring really!
I'm having a green day today:
Brekkie - 2 bites of banana (it was too unripe.....yuk!!), rice, yogurt, strawbs, rasps.
Lunch - confused speed soup, salad, salad cream (1), 6 crackerbread (HEB), 2 laughing cow (part of HEA1)
Tea - stir fried pork (HEB), veggies, nooodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sweet chilli sauce, tiny bit of sesame oil, veg ol for stif frying (2). I need to check the syns for the sauces.
Snacks - apple, pear, I also have some supernoodles if I need them as I have nearly 9 hours between lunch and tea as OH is on a late shift.
Rest of HEA1+HEA2 - milk in teas.0 -

* :j:j does a few of these :j:j in my head to keep warm*
Well Ive got 9 sleeps left till my hols*inner child escapes for a second* Im getting very stooooopidly giddy
and the case is now on the bedroom floor after much begging and pleading to Mr Dizzy so I can start packing it :T:T:) I did also use a bit of the old guilt trip thing by saying how totally disappointed I was that I couldnt go to WI last night and 'maybe I would have got my 2 stone shiney sticker blah blah blah ....... well it worked
Mr Dizzy has a fear of packing until the day of travelling - well a fear of ME packing :rotfl: as he knows I will take far too much and hes got to carry it all, so this is a major achievement that the case is out and Im allowed to start!!!
Anyway, Back to the SW stuff. Green day again.
Brekki melon & clem x2
Lunch veggie soup & satsumas x2
Tea ? not sure yet waiting to hear from MR dizzy when he thinks he will be home and what sort of llunch he is having,0 -
MRSMCAWBER wrote: »:rotfl:Sorry Lisa-I cause confusion with this everywhere... they are what we have always called brussel sprouts.... Nobby greens/nobbies
-one of my fave veggies mmmmmm
Hehe! Love it!! SProuts are one of my favourite veggies too....along with mashed swede and carrots. On xmas day I always peel twice as many sprouts as mum tells me too but I still always wish there were more. We're having xmas dinner at OH's parents this year so we'll probably only get a couple each....might get OH to swap his for one of my spuds....bet he wouldn't argue!!!0 -

MRSMCAWBER - I tried your burger recipe last night - very nice I must say - I could have eaten the lot, but managed to save half for today. I had 3 little burgers with SW chips (sprinkled with rosemary) and some green beans.
I'm so glad the dress looks good. Can't remember where you got it though, could you remind me?0 -

Hiya -glad you liked the burgers :T was it the ones with gherkin and capers in? They are seriously scrummy aren't they!!
I got my dress from www.yoursclothing.co.uk ...
they have some lovely stuff
Dizzy n lisa -glad Im not the only one who loves nobbies... I buy at least 3kg a week in winter (they don't taste their best until the frosts arrive do they?)
I always cook loads and eat them cold-then again I also like cold cabbage -much to hubbies disgust :rotfl:
