Unless anyone could inform me that fish and chips from chippy are low syn..... no, thought not!
No, but just eat the fish and not the batter, fill up on mushy peas and stick to a handful of chips and you wont go too far over.
Another returner slinking in. I just read the Mrs Sogood story and sat here thinking thats me that is. Need to get back on plan - I have been (and still am) ill so I can't exercise and I am using this as an excuse for putting weight back on when actually I am deluding myself about my eating habits. I am not hungry at all, but I am eating for comfort.
I will either do EE or red as usual.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
I've just had Pasta and sauce with HM chilli mixed in for breakfast.
What can I say? I was hungry...:rotfl:
I think today may well have to end up a flexi day as we're off to see some relatives in Manchester shortly so food will be totally out of my control and the alcofrol will be flowing.
Wish me luck0 -
Morning All.... From a very cold and 3" covered in snow West Yorkshire  Looking at the weather reports we've got away with things pretty lightly compared to some of you in other parts of the country so far - but my lovely little birthday present sports car (remember the one that OH got me to cheer me up after my Op-that Ive not been able to drive because of the slow recovery& bouncy vision thing....and he got rid of my little old bogey green suzuki swift) anyway its probably THE WORST thing to have in this weather.... rear wheel drive
Were forecast to not reach above freezing here for the next week so its gonna be a mare getting out of the communal car park even.....OH says he loves a bit of rallying tho - Men
Big get well hugs to takeiteazy & loonylamb keep warm & rest up ladies x x x
To those who have recently fallen off the wagon....Im sending you my personal supply of industrial strength glue, for times when Ive struggled and needed a little help -

Hi all! Back again after half a stone has gradually crept on! Thought I might try to lose that, plus another 7 lbs before the New Year!
12st 3.5 this moring eeek! Work trousers feeling tight......you know the story!
So! Have had lean bacon and eggs this morning, done in a spot of frylight.
Might make a nice spicy butternut squash soup for lunch. Just the weather for it I think.
My ultimate target is 10st 10, but will be happy with 7 lbs off for the moment.
Will let you all know if I discover any tasty new recipes! Here's to another exciting adventure....!

Afternoon, another green day - surprise surprise!
Using an A for coffee/tea throughout the day
First thing - coffee
Breakfast - 2 x alpen light(B), nana, ff peach activia (0.5)
Lunch - pasta with chestnut mushrooms, 30g cheese (part A), small spoon philly with garlic/herb (didnt weigh it but took it from a 60g lump and took about 1/4 of it max so will say 1 syn)
Dinner will be HM lentil soup, WM roll (B), ham (1), 12g cheese (rest of A), pickle (0.5), activia cherry, nana.
Have had both A and B and 3 syns after that lot. Will take a galaxy bubble and an alpen for an extra 11.5 syns to take me to 14.5 syns for the day.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend:AThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Hi again everyone.
I usually do alot of EE days on the plan but i'm doing a green day today.
This is my food for the day but it seems like an awful lot to eat. (which isnt a bad thing i suppose, only I find i struggle to fit it in).
Green day
B- 28g Shreddies with milk/milk in teas (Part HEB & HEA)
L- Left over quorn shepherds pie, plum and apple
D- Onion omelette with salad.
Snacks- 4x Dairy Lea light triangles (HEA), 1 ryvita (part HEB), 2 Alpen light bars (HEB)
Syns- Bar of choccy (9.5)
Does this look right to you all. Even dh is finding it hard to eat that amount and he's a big build lol.
Do you think it might be a good idea to EE the day and add ham to the omelette, Eat the ryvita to make up the HEB, syn the DL lights i've already had (2) and syn a choc bar instead?
What would you do?
BTW, i've stopped losing for some reason. STS last week and looks like STS this week.0 -
Good evening all -from a VERY cold Germany
Hope everyone is tucked up nice n warm!
Well done on the losses everyone :T
Is it just me-or are we all noticing the cold much more since we lost some "wobble" - I didn't use to feel it much, but core blimey I do now... gawd help me when I hit target -I reckon I will be investing in some thermals for next winter :snow_laug
Anyhoo -we nipped out earlier as I needed another fruit top up, so we nipped to the naafi and I grabbed some cheese on promotion at €6 for a kilo block (extra mature too) now we have been paying €4.29 for a 200g block of Cathedral lighter ... so this is a cracking bargain -and as I will be eating 28g per heA instead of 42g -it will last longer -so makes it even cheaper. So I have 5 blocks in the fridge
-I opened one to make hubby an omelette and WOW it is gorgeous . I also grabbed 4 boxes of fibre plus bars too whilst they had them, oohh and the last 4 bags of frozen lamb steaks -they are gorgeous and good value... I really must STOP trying to get anymore in the freezer now,,, really -I MUST
Today has been a funny one as I decided to go red -but haven't really eaten much so far -just :-- 250ml semi (A)
- 4 plums
- 2 clementine
- ooooh 1 syn for the taste of cheese
- apple
- pear
- bowl frozen tropical fruit
- activia (2.5)
- salmon fillet
- tomato
-but I need to get my 2 heBs and some syns down my neck at least
Weigh in tomorrow -so pinkies crossed the scales know whats good for them
Right I had better get off for now.... have a lovely evening all and keep up the great work-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50
