I am slinking back in, been so busy over the past month but of course that isn't an excuse. Just not been determined enough. I have put almost all my cookbooks away apart from SW ones (and Delia, can often adapt things from her) and did a shop yesterday so am back on the wagon now.
I can't catch up with the thread, so many posts, but this did catch my eye:

    Consider myself glued.....!

We still have no snow here in the capital- I do feel conned :(

Hopefuly america. Not that I can afford it. Im so poor right now!

I might try the MP curry next week, I dont really have the flexibility in my budget to make things we might not like :o and Ive pretty much done all my shopping for the week ( go me)

Cant beleive its so close to your holiday! You must be SOooo excited now!

OOOOOh Im mightily big excited......If I wasnt such a big dizzy I would be running round doing cartwheels lol :rotfl:

America eh :D how lovely ;) thats something to look forward to.

The mushy pea curry is literally:

    1 onion
    1 tin mushy peas
    1 tin beans
    1 tin toms
    1 tablespoon curry powder

    done ;) thats the basics

We woke up to 3" of snow yesterday, but is mostly thawed now....were pretty high up at our apartment and I can see the side roads are still covered but all the main roads are clear now.....were forecast a fair bit thru the week though which will make the trek accross the pennines to the airport pretty carp :( Were still trying to think of who we can bribe to take us as our new MX5 is like bambi on Ice in this weather:eek: !! seemed like a great idea in the summer tho :o
  • Morning everyone.

The snow arrived here in Warsaw last night, it looks as if it is thawing a touch but I am sure there will be a top up shortly as once it starts here is doesn't seem to stop.

I went off plan last night with a homemade pizza with naughty white flour too but it was bloomin lovely... I think the recipe was supposed to be for 2 pizzas though as the base was uber thick.

So been on WiiFit this morning to start working it all off. The chocolate treats have all gone now too and OH said not to buy anymore (only really bought them for him) so no more this side of Christmas.

    Today. Green
B - Missed it as I was wiifitting and helping OH make his 1st ever lot of homebrew (I don't like it so no temptation for me)
    L - roast veggies & couscous - Morrocan style (2)
    D - Spanish Turkey (B) veggies (F) and SW chips/Rice (F)
    Snx - banana & yog (2) and granola (4) 4 Ryvita (B) 2 x triangles (A)

We are putting our decorations up today too, so must break out the Christmas CD to start getting festive. Then off to see Harry Potter later - I know it's a childs film but I like them :D

Have a fab day everyone xx

  • Morning all... slinking back in, I've not been on in a week or two and I should because I need the motivation!!

Blimming freezing this morning, you can see your breath in our hallway :o Couldn't think of anything I wanted for brekkie (normal yoghurt n fruit.. nah, too cold.... cooked breakfast.... nah kitchen's a bombsite, need to clean first....) ended up having curry from the freezer, at 10am :rotfl: Warmed me up though!!

The new HP film is great :D They are getting darker and darker though, i don't think little kids would understand many bits of it, plus probably be scared at times! Enjoy it! :D

    Morning everyone!

I weighed myself last night and have gained a stone IN A MONTH . Now there is a good chance that this is part of my being ill and stopping all exercise but I am still horrified. The daft bit is that mostly I am not at all hungry.

Nothing like a short, sharp shock for motivation purposes.

Today looks like a red one I think:

    late B - scrambled eggs
early dinner - melon and smoked salmon, roast beef with sprouts (yum), broccoli and carrots
    snacks - pineapple, kiwi, clementine

Milk for tea (HE) and roast pots with dinner (HE)

olive oil on the pots will need to be synned, and I might have a glass of wine with the beef. Is horseradish sauce synned?

Must go and have a look for my book.

You are a target member , as I am, albeit at the moment, at the top end, but you seem so stressed
all the time ? Why ? you have achieved the bit you set out to ! whats wrong ?

From my post you quoted, the stress there is work related. If you are refering to me being 'stressed' about sw & weight loss I'm not 'stressed' just concerned that I'm still losing weight [lost another 1.5 this wi] I'm now 6.5lb UNDER target and not sure how to keep it on an even keel apart from the obvious of eating more syns which I think would put me back where I was i.e. overweight.
But if you think I'm stressing I'll keep it to myself.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Well done MrsM another great loss :T:T:T
Welcome back Lynz we missed you :A
Not long now Dizzy, I think we're all getting excited for you :rotfl:

Wi this morning but also had a sneaky peek yesterday. Now yesterday I had sts but today lost 1.5 so am not 100% sure about my scales, I turned them on and off several times but still said a loss hmmmmmmmm. As I said above thats well under my new target, I was thinking of going back to group just for a proper weigh but as I'm 11.5lb [blimey hadn't realised it was that much] under group target I think I'd have to pay. The only good thing is I have plenty of scope to gain at Christmas and not be too worried about it :rotfl: well thats the plan anyway.

By the way please tell me if I 'stress' too much on here, I see you guys as a sounding board as no-one at home understands like you do but please tell me if I'm boring you :o

Aww hun, Don't you start keeping your stresses you yourself :o Thats what this thread is all about......supporting each other.

You've been under a whole heap of stress for months now coming at you from all angles if you think about it :( Hubbys job situ...sons big venture to the big wide world of college, and your job too which is piling on the stress as we speak :(
I cant help thinking thats going to have an effect on your bodies internal workings (your IBs been non too happy has it?) and you've had one bug after another lately.....mmmmm?? old immune system obviously not running at full capacity huh? :o

Have you considered maybe a trip to the quack just to maybe have some routine bloods done? You need to look after number 1 hunni, you're eating well but still losing so maybe the doc can pinpoint something simple that can be sorted for you ;) x x x
