Hello all :) I have stuffed myself silly today and have therefore had a mixed day. Is it cheating if I look at syns across 2 days? I'm gonna!

    yesterday: 3.5 syns.

    today, green:

    2 x alpen light (b)
    coffee from machine (2?)
potato cheesy thingy (a, a and 10 syns! ok plus 2 for ketchup) b for houmus on otherwise free salad with it.
Went for coffee with a friend. Drooled over the cakes and posh Xmas coffees. What did I actually order? A peppermint tea. :AThen went back for another cos we were still nattering, and had an ordinary tea (2 syns for milk).:A The cake stayed behind the counter, just about! :A ;)
Then I went to morrisons and picked up loads of bargain veggies for 9p.:T
    Then I got home....
Fancied cauli cheese. made a sauce from the leftover cheese sauce (synned above) and quark. It was bloomin lovely! 1 syn for ketchup.
Then I had speed food soup.
Then I still felt munchy, so had the apple and cheese salad I had bought for tomorrow's lunch :o 5 ish syns for the cheese.
Then I accepted my fate of eating the entire kitchen cupboards, and had pasta with quark sauce. (2 syns). Next up was gnawing the wood of the cupboards. apparently this is free food. The plastic containers were a bit chewy, so i left them for later.
Then I decided the curley wurley (1/24) was a good idea. 6 syns.

So what does that make it... 33 1/2 syns over 2 days. Balls.

I have just averaged out my syns for the week - 14 syns per day over the last 6 days. So can I count that as okay....?

Please do tell me if I am twisting the rules a bit toooooo far! :p

By the way, haven't seen consultant for a while. Is she ok?

Not been long back from a meeting that started ok but ended on an upsetting and stressful subject. Came home and had white toast [4 slices] butter & jam to recover

Oh dear - what subject was so bad that it needed a 4 slice recovery?

Joined SW 13/9/10 - wanted to lose 56lb and lost 26lb! Rejoined on 9/1/12 having gained 17lb of my loss!!! :(
    Want to lose 50lb. 50 - 8.5 = 41.5 to go!
  • have you tried swimming??? that really helped me. I lost like 10 pounds a week by swimming 30 minutes a day in my pool!

Can't really say, but its to do with kids and the lack of support. The details make you feel sick but you bang your head against a brick wall trying to get any sort of support. Am sure I'll have nightmares about it but the toast helped a bit :o
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Hi, just incase you're not aware...granary bread can't be counted as HEB, it has to be wholemeal. Bummer I know lol!!!

WI for me tonight, I think I'm going to then drive to my own house after. I'm living with OH now but we still have my house until Feb so we can stay there when the weather is bad as its nearer to work. It's menat to snow at heavily at 6am (very precise!!!) tomorrow so I think it makes sense to be have a 4 mile drive rather than 30 miles!!!

Not looking forward to weigh in, think I've been pretty good but I thought that last week (except for 1 meal) and I put on 2lbs!!! Going riding straight from work, it's going to be freezing! Think I need to add some nice warm riding gloves to my xmas list....the leather ones I normally use just aren't warm enough at this time of year!!!

    Going green today:

    Brekkie - Porridge (HEA&B) and a banana
Lunch - sw quiche (HEA + 2 syns for bacon) and baked beans
    snacks - fruit
Tea - not sure, depends where I decide to stay tonight as cooking equipment is very limited at my house!!!

Have a good day everyone x

    Morning,

Well i had my first 'good' day in ages and i have to say it felt good:). Todays gonna have to be another easy food day as i've got ds off nursery again. Dreading the next day or 2 tho as my * week is almost here and its then when i really cant control my hunger and sweet tooth cravings:o
going for another green day today and hopefully it'll turn out summat like this -
B- porridge and cuppa (heb and hea)
L - pasta and philly (heb for philly and sprinkle of cheese)
T - mrsm's cheese n onion pie (hea for rest of cheese allowance)
    S - alpen light x2.
Still got no fruit and never got chance to make my soup so my 5 a day intake has been abismal over the last few days:(

Not been here for a while and have been totally off plan for a few weeks, but still having 'lighter' 'diet' varieties so i doubt i have put much on,thing is,i want your advise, well Consultants advise if she is still here
Its about periods (sorry men) when I am 'on-plan' I breeze through them, hardly any PMT and no pain, now i've been off plan for a while I can see a HUGE difference,I am spotty,in pain and awful to live with during my period,so i'm coming back on plan earlier than i anticipated,do you think I am weird? Or is it processed/bad food that upsets my hormones? What d'yall think?
so breakfast is ehrm fruit salad and bacon and scrambled eggs with tomatoes, yum!

Lunch will be JP with cheesy beans HEA

Dinner is warm salad, chicken, bacon, salady bits, and maybe some more fruit salad

i'll snack on Alpen Light bars,my ma has been buying them for me instead of chocolate,so I have around 15 boxes, but i'll just manage 2 as a HEB

so my aim is not really weight loss, although a slimmer waist and face would be nice, but to stop myself being evicted from my family ;)

and how you doing guys?!! I've missed your banter! :D

I think processed food upsets a lot of things, not just hormones! I suffer quite badly with migraines, when i was doing atkins i didnt have a single migraine the whole time:) Also seem to suffer less with them now i'm on SW too. The amount of chemicals and junk in processed food cannot be good for you:eek:

Brekkie: apple, grapes, raspberries, pear ML

Lunch: noodles and sweet chilli sauce (3 syns?)

Tea: H/M carrot and ginger soup (nomnomnom) 2oz granary baguette (HEB) oops and some marg (3 syns)

    Milk in coffee (HEA)

Snacks: apple, raspberries, banana, muller light

I re read the extra easy booklet last night still cant work it out D'OH

was today green or extra easy????

I'd check you can use granary bread as a HEB as I have a feeling it has to be synned. It is on Wholemeal you can use as HEB... Opps sorry just read back and someone has already mentioned this
