Morning all-well done on the latest losses folks :T
Another crisp n cold day here -they are still saying we will have at least 6" of snow by the weekend-no signs of it yet mind...
So then Im having a red day and it should look like this:-- lemon in warm water
- 28g oats (B)+**
- 250ml semi (A)
- banana
- salmon fillet
- peppers
- gherkin
- tomato
- strawberries, cherries, raspberries
- activia intensely (2.5)
- pineapple
- braised beef n garlic pie (1.5+B)
- nobbies
- cabbage
- 250ml semi (A)
- activia (2.5)
- 3 ryvita -(2+**)
- cheese triangle (2)
- gherkin
- pineapple
Now the pie is topped with mashed potato -BUT as Im having a red day I can only count potato as a heB IF it has the skin on -so my cunning way round that will be to steam the potatoes in their skins and then as I peel them I will eat my share of skins (so i still get the fibre)... Im nowt if not inventive
The recipe has a whole head of garlic in so we might not smell very nice later -but hopefully it will be scrummy... and as usual I will post the recipe if its good!
OOOOHHHH I did my measurements again yesterday (I shouldn't have done it yet but I had a sneaky peek) and in the last 13days I have lost another 22cm-now I have only had the leg magic for about a week now and the biggest loss has been off my thighs (so it must be working) -I have lost 3.5cm off each thigh in the last 13 days
So since I started taking measurements on the 22nd August I have lost 82.5cm/33"really wish I had measured everything when I first started.
Trixietoes... I love those wii activities you mention -I did the 10min hula hoop the other day and GOD did I feel it the day after
Right I will get off for now and get on the wii.... keep up the great work !!!!-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

What is the leg magic?
Well done on all the losses!!
I am having a green day today as I was hungry last night at bedtime and fruit just wasn't helping at all. The idea is to be able to have a HEb at bedtime to keep me going during the night.
We made a veggie curry a few days ago and I will have that today with rice and veg. I will make the men something meaty.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

I feel all invigorated now - ta
Today is a green day for me
Brekkie : All Bran HEB + ML (run out of frozen fruit, must get some more)
HEA : Milk in tea
Lunch : Falafel 3 syns + cous cous + salad, dressing 2 syns
Snacks : Fruit, lots of fruit to make up for lack of superfree at brekkie. Also need to squeeze another HEB in so will have a fibre plus or some ryvita.
Dinner : SW wedges + mushy peas + gravy 2 syns
That's 82/105 syns left for the rest of this week.
ETA : Arrrghh - the office admin's just bringing up *another* load of left over buffet food. MUST NOT eat more cheese sandwiches. Stick to fruit, woman!0 -
Well done losers (especially with all those inches MrsM)!!ruby_eskimo wrote: »Can anyone tell me which stir fry sauces have the lowest syn values? I love stir frys but like to have a little bit more than soy sauce in them sometimes!
I don't use any 'bought' sauces any more. For beef/pork stir fries I marinate the meat in soy, ginger, beef stock, garlic and sometimes a bit of chilli. Obviously you have to like ginger (could use Chinese 5 spice) but it's very tasty.
I'm asking questions again: Since starting SW I haven't done a roast with lamb or pork yet. When it says 'all visible fat removed' should that be before or after cooking? I'm asking because removing before would affect the cooking I think (??) and also because I want to know whether it's OK to cook my lamb shank (or similar) on a bed of root vegetables and stock or whether they would be full of syns:eek: TIA0 -
Green day for me
Brekki melon hea milk for teas
Lunch JP & Mushy peas satsumas x2
Tea mushy pea curry & SW chips(mr Dizzy is working late, hes gonna lurrrrve me for having another wierd food day :rotfl:)
HEB2 fibre plus bar HEA mad cows

Maman
I agree with you the meat definitely cooks better with the fat on, however if it is very fatty then I take some off before cooking and the rest after. As I only eat the lean meat I don't syn it because I've cooked it with a little fat on it. I also use a roasting pan with a grid so the melting fat goes into the bottom and the pork/lamb doesn't sit in it.
I'm only half pound from target so I seem to be doing OK not synning it.

Afternoon, hope everyone is ok. Well done to our losers:money:
ANOTHER green day:o
Coffee first thing
Breakfast FF peach activia (0.5), nana, 2 x alpen light (B), tea
Lunch HM lentil soup and some HM egg fried savoury rice
Snack coffee and a kitkat (5.5)
Dinner will be a southern style quorn burger(2.5) on a WM roll (B) with SW chips/wedges and beans. Squirt of ketchup (1)
So will have had 9.5 syns and both Bs and an A.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
I have just had a carrot cup cake, not a huge one, and have guessed at 15 syns, do you think that is about right?business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

hi all
thanks for those who advised me to lay off the bananas
i cut down to 1 a day and lost 1.5 lbs , leaving me 1.5lbs to target.
however i have made the difficult decision to quit the class and the diet.
i am still writing a food diary 18 weeks after starting and i feel like i am even more obsessed with food than ever so will be stopping this too .
so i am off to try general healthy eating and regular exercise.
i only really need to maintain now anyway .(and learn to stop binge eating)
i am going to be using most of the sw principles , but won't be eating as much yogurts and the like "just because they are free"
take care all i wish you all the best and thanks for all your help xxxx
:jWell done on your loss and I know exactly what you mean about becoming obsessed with food..
Wishing you all the best with your weight maintenance in the future:DSkint_Catt wrote: »Can anyone look up syns for Kellogg's Rice Krispies Squares pls? I hate to think but they're SOOOO yummy!

Hiya...I 'think' these are 6.5/7syns depending which flavour you go for!
Hopefully someone can check properly for you online.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0
