hi all
thanks for those who advised me to lay off the bananas
i cut down to 1 a day and lost 1.5 lbs , leaving me 1.5lbs to target.
however i have made the difficult decision to quit the class and the diet.
i am still writing a food diary 18 weeks after starting and i feel like i am even more obsessed with food than ever so will be stopping this too .
so i am off to try general healthy eating and regular exercise.
i only really need to maintain now anyway .(and learn to stop binge eating)
i am going to be using most of the sw principles , but won't be eating as much yogurts and the like "just because they are free"
take care all i wish you all the best and thanks for all your help xxxx0 -

I hope it all goes well for you ....... I do wonder tho if it may have been as well for you to call target at where you are now and have the backup of support at group (seeing as you intend to follow the principles of sw anyway?) x x0 -
Morning all, you're all very quiet this morning! I'm having an EE day today so I can have a fibre plus bar for supper after the AGM for the agricultural society that I am treasurer for.
brekkie - half a banana, rice, yogurt, apple, mixed berries.
lunch - sw quiche (half HEA + 2 syns for the cheese on top), leftover roast veggies, jelly (0.5)
Tea - cod and chorizo stew (2), veggies, jacket pot.
Rest of HEA - milk in tea
HEB - fibre plus bar
The quiche is yummy (had to test it when it came out of the oven last night!!). Thanks to whoever suggested using potatoes as a base. I sliced a load of new pots thinly, laid them in the bottom of the tin with a good spray of frylight then baked till crispy. While they were cooking I dry fried some lean bacon (needed using up, wouldn't normally bother), peppers, sweetcorn and mushrooms. I added this ontop of the potatoes then made up the quiche mix with eggs and cottage cheese, I also added 2 small onions chopped up into it which went on top of the veggies. I topped it off with some sliced tomatoes and a sprinkle of grated cheese then baked in the oven......blimming gorgeous, who needs pastry?!0 -
Morning everyone
I've been away for a couple of days as I had a disaster with my laptop and managed to wipe it completely.. but back now and it's all re-installed - except for microsoft office ggrrrrr
Once again I have been bad.... not eating enough:(. Yesterday I misjudged the time so only ended up missing lunch and only having a slice of fritatta and a black coffe all day until about 8pm when I got home, then probably ate too much.
I have had a good talk to myself this morning and will be doing better. I have hung a pair of jeans I used to love (when they fit) up in the spare room for a constant reminder to eat, and eat well. In theory I could potentially fit in them by Christmas (which will save me buying anymore as the ones I have now are too big really)
Today's plan (EE)
B - Fritatta (A) salad (F) spicy tom sauce (1) - just ate all this so good start
L - Baked Salmon chinese style (F) roast veggies (with 5 spice) (2) and chicken flavoured couscous (F) few drops of sesame oil in couscous but not counting that as it really is 3 drops.
D - Beef casserole (1) broccoli & carrots (F)
Snx - 4 ryvita (B) quark (F) ham (F) cuc (F) Banana (F) yoghurt (2)
and must remember to up my water as that has fell off the past couple of days too.
Have a fabulous day everyone... I need to keep up with you all too as I have found I have popped in less than usual and I have no one to keep me on track."People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0 -

Morning all,
Feeling a bit rubbish at the moment, was doing really well all day yesterday then for no reason at all i ate a load (and i mean a load!) of maltesers:(. Felt so guilty afterwards i got out my wii fit and did a load of step, for over an hr after ds's went to bed. Decided i'm now gonna get my wii out on a night after babes have gone to bed to squeeze in some much needed body magic.
So today is a fresh start although i'm not sure how its gonna pan out as yet, got my ds off nursery poorly and he just wants to sit on my knee and sleepn my lil bubs is getting grumpy coz he is feeling very left out so i'm gonna try and plan an easy green day -
B - porridge (1/2heb shared with ds and half hea)
L - noodles
T - smash pizza (hea of cheese)
S - alpen light x2 (heb)£387.39/£196.46
Pay my debt by End of Feb 2022
49.28% paid!
£199.55/£500 savings by End of April 2022

Make £2022 in 2022 - £200 -
after quickly reading the back posts I remembered I needed to do some exercise
and that I had new batteries for the Wii Fit so I got it out and for the 1st time in 648 days I got back on it. The good news is it said I had lost 1stone 7lb since I had last been on nearly 2 years ago :rotfl::rotfl: My BMI is 26.33 so in the overweight category.
I managed to do 34 mins and it was really good fun, I did running hula hooping, boxing and stepping some twice and I feel worn out... I am sooooo unfit it's untrue.
I knew it was a good idea to keep an eye on everyone and take leaves from your books. I feel back in the zone now so a big thank you for all your posts.
MrsM - we've been threatened with snow here too and I don't know if I am looking forward to it or not. I thought is started the other day but it was just polystyrene scattered on the ground :rotfl:"People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0
