Thanks Mrs M, You have done fantastically so far and I am sure that will continue:D
As of today I am going to start on my exercise bike (that I retrieved from my mum's house) I am going to start nice and easy on 10-15 minutes mon-fri, then will gradually build up from there... I am going to be super strict with myself about what food is going into my mouth and I am aiming for a 7lb loss before the new year:) Best laid plan's and all that;)
I just need to find the best time to get on the bike?

EE today :
Brekkie : All Bran HEB, thawed berries, ML
HEA : Milk in teas through the day
Lunch : Falafel 3 syns, salad, cous cous, dressing 1 syn
Snacks : Fruit, lots of fruit - left overs from a buffet lunch that someone in the office was having at a meeting today...fresh pineapple, strawberries and grapes - and all free - very :money:. Rather less good - I also had two quarters of a cost free but not syn free cheese sandwich on w/m bread - I'm counting 10 syns for the bread, the cheese and the mayo. I don't know why I even ate them...apart from a cheese craving. Must make cheese + potato pie soon.
Dinner : Chicken noodle soup with beansprouts, spring onion and chilli 2 syns for sauce
So that's 89/105 syns left for this week. Bah....free buffet food is bad!0 -
*starts sweating*
So i'm in real danger of not losing this week, because I've pretty much gone up to my 15 syns each day?Nothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -

NoooooThere are loads of folk who are following the plan from way back who are losing plenty and having their full 15 syns.....I just think they are saying 10 to everyone as a 'blanket thing' but if you look at the books it does still say the 5-15 syns thing.
I think its more about what works for you tbh, but you only have to look at places like minimims and loads of folk do 15 syns and lose stacks of weightx x

Don't panic-I think initially consultants told folks to stick to 10syns a day to allow for slight errors in weighing/measuring... as long as you are counting accurately you will be fine :T
Quite a lot of people seem to report in with better losses when tey have eaten most of their syns healthy extras etc...-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Calamityclare - If your dynrod soup is a bit bland try adding some herbs and spices, maybe some chilli or curry powder. As these are free it doesn't really matter what you add if it gives it a bit of flavour. I often put in worcester sauce or soy sauce to give it a bit more flavour.

I've been up for hours - yawn.
My nephew who is 13 was rushed into hospital (LGI) last night as he has some shunts in his brain and they had blocked. He has had surgery and is sleeping it off now. I can never sleep when these things happen - he has been ok for about 5 years now so this has been a shock. Hopefully all is well.
Must go and get dressed....

Came back in the next morning and she is up and chatting to the nurses, looking like nothing had happened:eek: They just like to keep us on our toes:cool:
sorry to hear that your little ones (daughter and nephew) have been ill, hopefully they are on the mend now and yes I agree they love keeping us on out toes.
well girlies I've decided to bite the bullet and join a class tonight, haven't really been on plan for the last few days which started with a trip to Taybarns (all you can eat place with profiteroles, apple crumble, custard, cream, chocolate fudge sauce, carrot cake chocolate cake etc) as you can imagine I had a good time
I'm gonna go to the class I joined earlier in the year and hopefully my old consultant won't be covering or I may have to scream and run outSealed pot challenge - member no:506

Ah I see. Thanks guys. Always have it in the back of my head that 15 each day isn't right cos its supposed to average out at 10... but the way I see it I unfortunately have a lot to lose at the mo, so hopefully going up to the full whack won't affect.
.. if I don't lose this week I think I will cry in classNot that I'm a drama queen or owt
but at least my little (large) monthly visitor is here, which explains the wanting to eat everything in sight thing. Am weeing like a mad thing, so am hoping to lose some weight from lack of water retention, if nothing else!Nothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -
Sending positive thoughts for everyone weighing in today!:j0
