So sorry about the Job situations Lightisfading & BanburyBride :(

I do agree tho that SW doesnt have to be expensive to do (obviously going to classes each week may have to take a backseat....but you have tons of support available to you on here ;))

foodwise, if you shop around & buy in season fruit/veggies or frozen berries it can often work out cheaper. I know this week doing my Green week & superspeeding it up on beans/mushy peas/melon/ satsumas and soups has cost a lot less than if we had eaten a 'normal persons diet'
Like MrsM said spuds & onions make the base of a fab old meal and cost very little.....great comfort food in this nasty weather too :)

    Right.....GOOD MORNING ALL

Im ready and raring to go for the last little bit to get my 2 stone shiney award before my holibobs :)

Ive got my :A head on and Im going to be super dooooper good this week.......If you see me posting anything different - please feel free to give me a severe beating with very big sticks :rotfl:

Well Dizzy has been a big stoooooooopid again (confession time :o)
Mr Dizzy arranged to go into work late so he could get in touch with the hosp for me re this ear thing as I was really narked last night,I wasnt even that happy with my 2.5lb loss because of it  (bless him he even said oooooh where are you when I came thru the door:A)

Anyway ..... my last appointment when I found out I was definately suitable to have this done and leeds would fund it - Mr Dizzy couldn't be there so his mum had to take me (now this may explain a few things :o) she is lovely....but a little errrm not the best in the world with her memory, and I - well I cant always hear whats being said with my one ear (thats now failing me) and the surgeon is scottish and very excitable when he speaks ...... are you all still with me?????? Good. So to cut a long story short between MIL & me we know he says come back On 24th November (because the nurse makes the appointment there and then as he knows Im on hol for a month after that, and I get a little card to keep. I then go to see the nurse a week after who does all the pre op stuff.....alls fine no probs.

But when Mr Dizzy spoke to the Secretary this morn it seems that Dopey deaf me & his rather away with the fairies mum missed the part where he said on the 24th of November I'd be seeing him to sign the consent forms to go ahead with the procedure......not having the procedure as hearing and balance have some paperwork they need to do first to allow the procedure to go ahead:o
I wouldnt be able to have the Op and go on holiday anyway as I have to attend hosp for them to dress the graft weekly for 5 weeks as there is a strong chance of infection with this op. MR Dizzy said im not fit to be let out on my own.....and definately not with his mum :rotfl:

Oh and the surgeon isnt going on holiday.....the clerk shouldnt have told us that!? they have double booked appointments and seeing as mine was to sign papers only they thought it best to slot me in later (fair point which I can fully understand - now I KNOW :))

Next to the quote button at the bottom of people's posts there is a button with 2 coloured text bubbles, a pinky purple one and an orange one. If you click on it a tick will appear, you can click this button on up to 3 posts, when you then post your reply the posts that you have clicked on will all appear in your reply text box.

    Hope that makes sense!

    Hi day two;- EE

    B- weetabix x 2 (Heb) , milk(He A)
L-Jacket plus beans, spring onions chilli
    D- Steak and chips
Snacks; fruit maybe a penguin (5 syns)

Unless there's other stuff on your meal plan it looks to me as though you should be having more superfree vegetables / salad with your meals. You need to aim for at least 1/3rd superfree food at each meal. That's stuff that is free on both Red and Green days. Your plan above looks to me more like a Green day with the steak as a measured HEB.

Of course, you might be eating a mountain of superfree stuff, if so just ignore me :)
  • Dizzy I'm confused just reading that!! Hope it all gets sorted out soon......

I lost half a pound on wednesday, and after spending the last 2 days at my friends house totally off plan, I'm determined to get my 1 stone award next time I weigh-in, although I probably won't be going to group for a couple of weeks. So I can definitely do it!!
