Dizzyk are you around? I was wondering if you'd be as kind as to let me know what you put in your 'confused' dyno rod soup. I was going to make butternut squash soup as I already have one in the fridge but I think your combination of squash and the speed soup may be a good idea to see if I can get the wieght shifting a bit after my disasterous weigh in last night!!! I'm going to Morrison's after work so I can pick up any bits I need for it!
Thanks xxx0 -
Am feeling very grumpy

Afternoon all,
Not a good week for me - been to the doctors about my back - he made me cry by prodding me in the back!
On Co-codamol & ibuprofen which can apparently lead to toilet problems so i am trying to eat more fruit
Even with the tablets i am in pain!
Days are normally good SW wise but as soon as i have had my tea the fairies - alright it is me i have to admit it - are called from the fridge/cupboards with all the nice things i have brought - biscuits atm are my downfall!
The sainsburys mini cookies are really nice - they are 1 syn each but i couldn't just eat a couple the whole bag is gone within a few minutes! that is about 28 syns just on biscuits!
I am just not in the frame of mind atm - definately taking the sceanic (my spelling is cr*p) route! but i have to look at the bigger picture - i have lost 3st 12lbs (until weigh in comes around anyway!) and feel and look so much better than before
I have been doing SW for just over a year so maybe i deserve a break?
Talking of alien corners - i love my root veg! can't get enough of swede & butternut squash recently - but choco & biscuits are my downfall atm! so i am 'normal' lol
Sorry for the whine - just need to get it all off my chest (or should i say gut!)
I think next week will be a fast forward week as nothing is going on and i need a kick start! The straight jacket is being measured for my as i speak!
WELL DONE for all the loosers & for those like me - the sceanic route is better than no route at all!0 -
Hi Everyone
I am loving my soups at the moment, and in this weather they are a welcome warm at lunch time...I really need to try a few varieties now though. I am having carrot and coriander for the next few days, I love it. I usually have a veg one, which is carrots, broccolli, cauli and onion, sometimes I fry the onions with some garlic...sometimes I don't.
Not sure what to have for dinner tonight, I have a load of chicken in the fridge so everyone else will be having that..I am on a green day today, although I haven't used my HE's yet so I could have two HEb's as chicken. i think I might do some SW roasties/wedges and veggies with the chicken..so just some syns for gravy.
So far I have had..
B - Scrambled egg and beans
L - Soup
D - as above;)
I have some activia ff in the fridge and plenty of fruit in, so will try and get some of that eaten soon too.
Right must go and change a couple of nappies....have a nice day everyone xx
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -

Its easier said than done tho when you're feeling a bit sorry for yourself....the choccy and biccys seem to be the things that take my pains away better than prescription drugs too!x x

Afternoon all
Well done to those with losses :T-and chin up to those who the scales haven't been kind to this week
Dizzy-
Now then -your op date changing isn't great -BUT looking on the bright side at least you are going to be able to go to mexico "well" - I would imagine that if you had your op late in november then would be no guarantee that you would be back on best form in time-so Go and have a whale of a time and then you can come back fully relaxed n rested for your OP :T
Well Im having another of my "don't really fancy anything to eat" days again-so Im going red -although I haven't had much yet
...it looks like this:-
- 250ml semi (A)
- 2 apples
- 2 clementines
- activia intensely (2.5)
and the rest should look like this:-
- goan pork curry (0.5)
- 198g potato (B)
- wedged in 1/4tsp oil (0.5)
- 250ml semi (A)
- fibre plus (B)
- activia intensely (2.5)
- plums
- orange
- satsumas
I can't believe how blinkin cold it is again .. they reckon we are in for a really harsh weather so I will be upping the stew/casserole dishes me thinks...
Anyhoo I had better get off and do some more typing...
Have a great day everyone and keep at it...-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Ello everyone,
Sorry I have been away so long, I had a two week holiday in London and my graduation from a course so I wasn't exactly on plan at all for the 2 weeks, came back to find I'd put on 2lb which I'm actually really really happy about because I was really bad.
Pizza, Pringles, Chocolates, Crisps, Bread, Curry, cheese to name but a few, 2lbs on a small and very lucky price to pay.:p
I've been back on plan this week tho, so we shall see how I go next week0
